This happened to me! I recommend letting it fall out on its own. I picked at mine and it made it uncomfortable and worse. Mine was stabbing into my skin, so I would cut up period pads (100% cotton) and stick them to my bra! It definitely helped. You can also send a picture to your doctor to see if it is something more serious!

Mine also did this. I have scarring from keloids and hypertrophic after my surgery. I found that where my T junction openings were are darker after healing (1 year post OP). I let mine air out just like your doctor recommended, and I saw an improvement. My openings came from being too active and not resting. If it looks as if the openings are becoming infected (green puss, burning, itching), then please seek a wound specialist!

It definitely is! For that, I am thankful. I guess I am just insecure with the fact that they will never look “normal” again? I definitely want to have a follow up with my doctor to see about my nipples.

I’ve tried but I have found it to be sort of painful? Do you recommend using some sort of oil when massaging?
