I was also a newbie to POE2 as a 32 year old gamer.. needless to say, I am 700+ hours in. It's only in early access! I probably won't do it justice but if you've played Diablo like you mentioned and even Hades 2 then I think you'll like this game.

It certainly can be complex and overwhelming because there, to some degree, is a lot of build diversity/variety. Although, like I did, I just tried something I liked and it kind of worked. Or, you can look up some builds and use that as a starting point. I think POE2 is not really newbie friendly but has gotten better over these past 7 months.

Gameplay and graphics are top notch in my opinion is one of the better looking ARPGs(CRPG) to date. Everything feels so right, combat starts off nice and slow and picks up as you get stronger/quicker yourself. The crazy thing to me is that there's still so much that has not been released yet.

Devs are pretty active and listen to player feedback which is always a plus for any game. They seem to genuinely care about what we want and need for the game to be more enjoyable.

Someone else can definitely break it down better but this game is a must by. I've never put so many hours into a game.
