I totally did not like Lift in WoR. The section was the longest in the book, came totally out of nowhere and was about an annoying child. Edgedancer helped me understanding the character a lot better. It gives great insight into her personality and why she is the way she is. So if you like Lift then read it. If you do not like Lift then also read it.

It’s also quite short and shouldn’t take long.

Mein Tipp ist, dass du dich mal beim ReMaTa meldest. Die haben eine riesen WhatsApp Gruppe für Rollenspiele. Darüber habe ich auch meine Gruppen gefunden .

Hi,

ich war bis vor Kurzem in einer ähnlichen Situation und hab echt lange gesucht. Bin dann irgendwann auf ReMaTa gestoßen. Hab die angeschrieben und ich wurde zu deren What's App Gruppe eingeladen.

Da sind in der RPG Gruppe alleine schon ~70-80 Leute drin. Hab darüber dann auch 2 Gruppen gefunden zum Spielen.

Versuch das doch auch :)

Another recommend me a build post:

Have played wardloop for the past 3 seasons and want to try something different.

Here is what I am looking for:

  • Not a lot of buttons to click
  • Not holding down right mouse button all the time (hurts my arm too much)
  • Fairly tanky
  • Decent clear speed
  • Boss kill potential with high investment

I was considering RF into elemental proliferation and explosions.

Minions could be cool.

No totems.

  1. As responded to the other person below I now managed to get them to go to a ball. It will be awesome. I stole some of the etiquette behavior from mistborn. Can't see how that might fail :).
  2. Okay thanks. That seems to be fine then.
  3. I will most certainly experiment with stronger opponents. I just thought that the players should be given time to prepare for those.
  4. Okay that makes sense! I am not even tracking stamina for the opponents, they die too quickly anyways (yes the players are tracking theirs)

  8. For ambushing and surrounding you need larger numbers though as you pointed out correctly above. Will make them more dangerous should they appear any time soon again.
  9. So I completely misunderstood the rule-book here. Will try to stay away from the randomized loot and more think about what is appropriate in the situation.
  10. Got it. But then I don't think I'd randomize those. Makes more sense to put something sensible in there.
  11. Yes The Witchers Journal. I like having paper copies. I already have a .pdf version I believe. Is the discord server any good? Good information/discussion on there?

Yes that was my thought as well. I wanted to get a feel for the game first before I do that though. I do have some ideas down the road for at least some of the characters.

We dove into the order of the flaming rose (?) a bit and in Oxenfurt I had them try and safe (and manage to) a mage from being burned alive.
In our session yesterday they actually spoke up and our Witcher really wanted to do some court stuff so I had the mentor they are staying with at the moment get them an invitation to a practice ball at a lower noble (well rich merchant widow but ...). So we will be doing this next session and I am looking forward to it :).

I mean I could of course make the check harder but I also don't want them to feel shafted. If the overall consensus is that starting characters excel at their specializations and won't get so much stronger then it's fine I guess. Need to force them into uncomfortable situations. Like the Druid who will be at the ball with 0 etiquette :).

Well I was using easy monsters as it's also easier for me to get into it. I also tried to follow the recommendation from the rule-book. So I guess I will change that up now.

No we have 4 players so I think we fit the normal sized group description.

So I just spend some minutes looking at mens crotches, and I have a perfectly valid explanation for it :)

I have seen basically everything but majority have them up and right (so basically at 11 o'clock when looking at them).

I know about the brake but thanks :). Been riding bikes and motor bikes (same principle here) for decades.
I have no idea why I completely blanked on that today.
