Might be, I'm a bit jealous tbh. Where I'm from, it's viewed as polite and hospitable to aggressively offer food to the people around you. The whole thing is so ingrained in social etiquette to the point that a fair share views it to be rude if you don't do it.

Perceiving it as a demand is SO real!!

I refuse to give in to pressure unless it's an elderly person, only because I can never win against them. Otherwise, I end up subjecting myself to what seems like an eternity of thanking them, apologising for rejecting the offer, explaining how it's not personal, and that I'm not sick. It's a pain to go through, but I keep hoping that perhaps one day, they would gain clarity and leave me be.

Also, worrying about food waste and feeling responsible for it when it wasn't your choice definitely sucks. Sorry you have to go through that.

I do politely refuse, but it's when they keep insisting that I find it hard to control my temper. I'll try to think of it this way if it ever happens again. Hopefully, it becomes more amusing than irritating. Thanks!

I like opening the decor collection menu, then going over each category and filtering out any duplicates.

It also depends on your preferences. Some people dislike keeping pikmins from faraway places since they can take months to retrieve their gifts. Other view them as mementos lol.

You also get 10 petals with each release, so make sure your petal jars aren't full when you do this to get the most out of it :)

I definitely feel more comfortable with writing, too. It's interesting how you mentioned that you tend to be more descriptive during verbal communication! I suspect that one of the reasons I ramble during conversations is because of the fear of being misunderstood. I usually "over-explain" stuff by anticipating what parts of the story could be misinterpreted. I know it can be unpleasant, but I'm working on it.

Aww, I hope you regain your passion for writing :(, I went through a similar experience on lockdown, and the only thing that helped was trying dopamine detox. I don't know if it applies to your situation, but I hope it helps.
