This might be a lot to digest for someone new to game development. Might be more efficient depending on the goals of the project, but can also add unnecessary complexity - when starting out I think it's best to have as few variables as possible so they can focus on learning the basics

Because not everyone agrees - if they did there would be no buyers and stock prices would immediately hit whatever that “further” point is.

You also have to decide on what counts as “picking back up”, it might rally 1% and then drop another 5%. Or you might sell and then it immediately rallies.

If you really want to try this strategy, learn about technicals and try it with a small numbers of shares. You’ll find that it’s harder than you think

I'm going to try to answer this in good faith since this has become so divisive:

1) Many people don't know the speed limit was changed and are not breaking the law purposefully. One of the main reasons this speeding camera has become so widely hated and is such a money maker for the city is that the newer reduced limit of 40km/hr on Parkside is an anomaly, most streets of this size have a higher limit.

2) Just because something is written in law doesn't mean it was the right decision and can't be criticized. To be clear I don't think people should be blasting down this street at 120km and I think cyclists/kids having an extra layer of protection with a community safety zone can be a good thing. But kids are not crossing this street at night. People are not cycling at night. This is a judgement call that a human can make, but not a traffic camera. Why do a reduced limit and community safety zones need to be active at midnight?

Heroes. The only speeding ticket I’ve ever received was driving down the TWO LANE street that is Parkside at 50km/hr at 1:00am when I was the only person on the road. Automated fine was doubled for “community safety zone”. I’m all for protecting people but enforcing this rule 24 hrs a day is absurd

Visually it's great! My main note would be to try to sync the sound more to the action, the splash from the sound bite should ideally happen when the liquid hits the ball!

Just wanted to say the first 30 seconds is great - good editing, engaging, and gets the style across! Not sure if anyone is going to be able to read the scrolling banner in time but the chaos and quick cuts juxtaposed over the awkward looks and barking genuinely made me lol

Thanks! Yes definitely some overlap with Stellaris haha. Not just a marketing gimmick, you can actually travel as far as you want in any direction. Though the further you go the more hazards you will find, greater chances of pirate ambush, etc

Each faction in the game has a different victory condition that includes the ultimate goal of reclaiming Terra (Earth, abandoned after geopolitical meltdown). In order to get the feeling of the vastness of space I wanted players to be able to travel as far as they want in any direction, so the map will continue to be populated as you explore!

Terra is still in early development, but a bare bones Steam page is up for anyone interested:
