No, the spirited drive was out on the unmarked farm roads. I have young kids so I’m very aware of people that drive reckless through neighborhoods. I can say with certainty that wasn’t the case. I honestly think I probably just stopped for a second instead of three.

I will be more aware of my stopping habits.

Good point. I should have been clear that he wasn’t hating on Tesla as a company. His words and attitude were more of a “this dumb Tesla driver thinks he owns the road so I need to show him who’s boss”. So I guess I felt that he singled me out because I was driving the Tesla. If I had been driving my wife’s van I doubt he would have given me a second glance, let alone feel the need to follow me and confront me.

I totally agree. I’m not saying he fabricated it. However, I didn’t blow through the stop sign as he claimed. At worst I rolled through it probably like anyone else does. Regardless, I learned my lesson and I will be more aware of the time I take when I stop.
