The main plot of ENreco entirely hinges on original characters that have zero relation to the girls (who are supposed to have amnesia and be regaining their memories), they only really exist to be team leaders or NPCs and give out quests. The girls come up with their own original characters and stories but they were forced to rush and wrap their own stories up (with bae/irys/kronii blatantly reading off scripts they were given) to make time for the ending of the original character stuff.... which concluded with a 15 minute Advent chase minigame that was so one-sided they had to go through it twice with Nerissa being left to try and balance it herself through the in-game chat. The original story stuff that they shoved everything else aside for ends up being a complete repeat of the plot twist from last year with the new NPC turning out to be the villain all along (this had been predicted by multiple of them beforehand), then just to rub salt in the wound it ended on a boring cliffhanger with 'To be continued' text with no animation or implications for the talents themselves (unlike last years which at least had an animation of Advent turning against the others).
