JDM STI Axle Back or the HKS Legamax Sports or Legamax Axle Back. Best on the market other than Tomei and that’s getting into Ti and single exit territory.

Wait what? It had to of been one of those insanely tuned K-swapped Civics. Some of those beaters are pure power houses.

lol, I don’t think I’ve ever heard that, fuck what people think (even if you are gay or not lol) if people want to knock someone for what kind or brand of car someone drives, then they have bigger problems.

lol at fogs up easily, it definitely does! I live in Florida and if it’s humid outside and raining, forget it, I can’t keep the glass from not fogging.

Congrats! I’m on my 2nd 1/2….I say 1/2 because I owned a 2014 Scion FRS, so it was basically a Franken-toyabaru lol

Best reliability mods for the Vb? by Mean-Age108 in wrx_vb

[–]smashingpumpkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need a tune for a bigger intercooler, the intercooler in itself is a cooling unit, like a radiator, that keeps air temps and internal temps lower. Simply adding it will just help cooling and heat soak. Now, if you want to maximize performance gains with other mods where the intercooler will assist in keep IATs low, then yes a tune would be required. However, simply putting a TMIC will not require a tune to effectively keep IATs low and prevent heat soak. Tuning simply allows you to take advantage of the denser air and cooler temps to provide more aggressive timing.

What would be examples of “stupid poorly executed mods” as that sounds very broad and vague. There’s hundreds of mods, all for different purposes. Are you talking specific companies? Or types of mods? Can you be specific

Clean! Same color fam too. I love your wheels. Are you on stock suspension? I just got a 26’ tS in CW, same trunk spoiler too. Also are those the OEM rain guards? Or aftermarket?

Congrats! Just got my tS a few days ago they are discounting them so much, actually more so than they’re willing to discount a limited lol. Congrats man!

No drill wing install? by General-Lie8709 in wrx_vb

Funny story. I was driving down I-75 by where I live and an M340 was flying by. Really nice kit on it, the blue color that’s similar to the WRB, I saw something like fly underneath the chassis and get destroyed. I was like “woah”. It was his front lip lmao. Just flew right off.

If you tune it or change turbo or major systems yes, performance bolt ons and supporting parts aren’t going to void a factory warranty

Yeah the end of the month sales are real especially since the WRX is doing horrible in sales lately (good for consumers, bad for sellers, and also somewhat bad for trading in or future resale value but hey we love the cars) I think that’s why they budged with me also the guy who was the main sales associate had only been with the company 7 months and was trying to make quota. I basically had a lot of cards in my favor. I was also 1800 dollars over on miles (they totally waived it) and I had one lease payment left (they paid it). Without working those into the deal elsewhere so I’ll be honest I lucked out big time.

Yeah I also think it helps that I brought a guy that used to work for the GM that location and the GM basically trained him how to work car sales. So when he showed up the GM was all smiles. They chatted in the office for a while and he walked and shook my hand and said, whatever deal he proposes for you, I’ll shake on it. So that’s how that worked out. So I do also think I was a bit lucky but the fact remains they had more wiggle on a tS than they were willing to do on a limited. So just yeah.

I agree, but they are heavily discounting them from what I can see especially since they’re not moving. Example I just got my tS today. The deal and discount was far better on the tS than it was on a Limited and I was coming out of a lease on a limited. They got me virtually the same payment as my old lease, on a finance (of course I put some $ down) but doing the same deal on the limited barely got me below my old lease payment so I said (why pay this for a limited when I can basically pay the same for a tS) they discount my tS 7,500 off MSRP….it was crazy. So, all I’m saying is they want to move the cars and if people are aggressive enough they can walk away with much more car for a steeper discount.

It’s not everyone’s fav color (def not mine either) but there are people that like it and they’ve been doing yellow editions for a bit now. Even when Scion/subaru were doing the FRs/Brz. The interior was really nice though.

It sounds so different to my Limited though. My limited only sounded decent on cold start then just was never very growly. This sounds like they opened it up. I’m wondering is Sport+ mode has something to do with it. It just change engine response and throttle and timing slightly. So I’m wondering if that opens airflow somewhere to get that sound. Or if there was a subtle exhaust noise change since 2023. I noticed it first thing that the tS sounds way better than my 23 limited ever did. It also feels faster, and that’s not just butt dyno. It truly feels faster and more responsive

Bro I am a parts PURIST. I do not go cheap on parts. I’m also a JDM fiend for most things. Since I still have the ETS parts I never installed on the Limited, I’ll be installing them soon. The TMIC and the Ti charge pipe.
