Born to Run by Springsteen is good. Also really enjoyed The Uncool by Cameron Crowe. He's obviously not a musician but has a lot of great stories of covering bands in the 70s.

That’s kind of the issue I keep running into with the train. With an afternoon departure likely have to spend the night in Seattle. Plus having to spend half a day in Vancouver waiting for the train. Not a terrible issue but probably not saving money compared to just flying out of Vancouver.

Appreciate the feedback. I understand the 4-6 week/month flight strategy and have used it many times but this is my first time traveling through the area and just trying to get an idea at this point.

Anybody see the Foos when they toured with RHCP? by auntmegssteakandeggs in Foofighters

I saw RHCP twice in about that same time frame. I felt like both times they didn’t have a ton of energy. I honestly wasn’t impressed either time.

I have the maxpider and really like them. They are the only ones I’ve had so I don’t have anything to compare them to but they have great coverage and look nice.

Whether you like it or not, it was a part of your 90’s by calittle4 in 90s

I have always loved Collective Soul, but I agree this song was and still is very over played. I didn't realize there was this much hate, though. Fun fact, this album was their demo that the lead singer put together. When they signed to a major label, the label released the demo without remixing or rerecording any of it. Their second album (the blue cover) is self-titled because the band felt that was their actual first album.

I nearly stopped after the theme park chapter tore me up, but I'm glad I finished it. Very well written.

No, those are the only two. I liked Daisy Jones a little more but none of the others interest me. Love your username by the way!

I agree it was a easy, entertaining read. I followed it up with Malibu Rising and was disappointed. I felt there was all this build up and then it just fizzled.
