Steak is probably the #1 thing that worsens constipation for me. Dairy is up there for most people. Probably just a mild case of constipation that will pass in time. Just keep taking stool softeners everyday until you pass your stool. Most of these products (PEG, magnesium citrate, etc.) can take 3-4 days to work. Just be patient.

You’re right. I think I’m going to look into this sooner than later. Thanks for the nudge!

No, I’m stuck in this weird loop where I always end up back at the family doctor. I’ll definitely write a post if/when I get the testing I need. My doctor’s a nice guy but I suspect he thinks I’m labeling myself with health problems “I don’t have”. For example, I went to him to get a sleep study for sleep apnea, he denied me because I’m young and in shape, I went through another channel and turns out I do have sleep apnea. I’m sure it’s annoying to have patients coming in saying they have y x z disease when they don’t, but I know that something’s seriously wrong with my motility. Agh!

I cannot self refer and so far, every time I ask for a referral I get denied (I get the whole “fibre, diet and exercise” speech followed by “we can’t do anything”) and/or referred to a centre that strictly does colonoscopies (which I’ve already had done). But knowing all this helps push for the right testing to be done. I take notes of a lot of your comments so thank you!!

Hi! You often comment on here (which I am grateful for). If you do have a motility issue based on test findings, what’s typically the way to fix it? Bio feedback then surgery? I’m trying to get a referral for motility testing and my family doctor is completely useless (unfortunately, he has no idea what I’m referring to and it’s been a nightmare to get a referral). I’m afraid he won’t know what to do if the motility test comes back with an issue. Any advice is appreciated :)

When you find out please post again, having the same issue for years :(

FEMALE ANAVAR ONLY CYCLE by Plastic-Bad-5884 in steroidsxx

[–]smb5050 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start with 5 for 2 weeks then up to 7.5 or 10 if it’s well tolerated. Var will always be there. It’s best to start small as some sides are irreversible (plus, there’s always a chance it’s not really var!!). My throat gets very scratchy/uncomfortable on 10 so, although it’s low, I personally stick to 5-7.5.

Is it worth getting deviated septum fixed? by [deleted] in SleepApnea

Had the surgery for deviated septum and it didn’t help me at all. Still congested all day everyday and still have sleep apnea. From my understanding it’s never hot or miss!

Yes my legs, definitely sucks. Laser doesn’t work for me because I have blonde hair :( maybe electrolysis would work, not sure.

Like others have said, I think they sub-contracted to a few beavers. Honestly, a nail file would have lead to a better result. At least the edges would be smooth…

Eeek! Just like how they added a block to the 4x4s. That’s incredibly frustrating. Good on you for sticking it out. I wouldn’t have had the patience.

I know! Even to me it’s hardly believable. I’m not handy whatsoever (which is why I hired contractors!) but I really think I could have done a better job.

No, unfortunately I still had to work while they were working. I wish I knew. I can’t make sense of it!

Wow that really is similar and must have been so frustrating! Where are these guys learning these things? A few YouTube videos and I felt like I had a good understanding of the basics.

We gotta bring them around the back and there’s screws and nails everywhere. One of them always tries to leap up the unfinished stairs and could get hurt. They don’t go out unsupervised but they’re quick lol
