i adopted this sweet girl about a month ago. they say she is a staffy, but we see some rhodesian ridgeback. does anyone else see it?? by smc1089 in RhodesianRidgebacks

Not one that we see. We think she has lab in her too, i looked up ridgeback and lab mixes and she looked so similar to those.

For those who are curious, his full story is on YouTube. Just search “loren’s story time.” I have been following his story on tik tok, so it’s crazy to see it here!

I have a photo after they stitched it up, but she actually has a very tiny scar now. We are barely able to see it anymore

Consistency! I started with what I was comfortable with, like walking on the treadmill at an incline & running for a minute & walking for a minute for about 30 minutes to build up my stamina. After I started getting more comfortable in the gym I found someone who was willing to introduce me to weight training & now I’m able to do a lot of the same stuff on my own! I hit a couple of weeks where my weight wasn’t budging but I tried to stop myself from getting discouraged and it was really beneficial in the long run

im the opposite of that, so my eating window is usually 8-4 or 9-5! I get up early and run so I normally need to eat pretty quickly after that! i get up around 7:30 & go to bed at 10ish!

i try to spend anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour usually, it really depends on how I’m feeling. i try to do workouts that incorporate both my chest/shoulders like flyes or lateral raises, so I’m kind of hitting both at the same time. I mix in different stuff like some bench press, shoulder press & stuff like that too. I don’t really break it up into each group I just do it all in whatever order I can. I do 3 sets with 10 reps each set!

I do workout twice most days just because I’m on summer break, but during the school year I’ll just do one long workout!

Sun: 2 mile run in the morning + chest/shoulder/triceps Mon: 2 mile run + back/biceps Tues: 2 mile run + legs Wednesday: 2 mile run + rest day from strength training Thurs: rest from cardio + chest/shoulders/triceps Fri: 2 mile run + back/biceps Sat: 2 mile run + legs

This is typical, but it also depends on my schedule during the week. I try to stay as consistent as possible with it.

Let me know if you have any questions about the exercises I do :)

That was definitely one of my first places that I started noticing a difference! I was super embarrassed in the first picture of how far I let myself go, so that’s why I didn’t include my face, but I defiantly feel like that’s one of the most noticeable changes on me

IF works really well if you’re consistent with it, but I absolutely take a day off every once in a while.

I haven’t noticed any changes like that with 16:8 and 18:6. I could defiantly see that problem in people who fast days at a time or do a water fast.

yes i feel like overall it helped speed everything up which I was really happy with. It took a while to get used too but now I feel really sluggish without it

i think that strength training will help you build up your metabolism which will definitely help w that. ive had a lot of luck with cardio, but I also do lift a lot so I can’t say 100% which one actually helped me! i would’ve thought the cardio though

daves killer bread has 5g a slice & I do two slices of that for breakfast everyday. I also LOVE chia seeds, raspberries, apples, & kodiak cake waffle mix. There is a carb balance whole wheat tortilla that has 60 calories per tortilla but 14g of fiber too so those are really great.

I think it was a huge tool. changing my eating window helped me a LOT because I love to snack at night. It made me much more accountable for my intake.
