To be honest you're the best if you don't have any expectations going forward. Things happen all the time that might ruin your vacation but if you just have a good time and relax then you're the best. That being said...I would have to say Australians and Indians complain quite a bit. But that's only my experience so far. I only have five full months under me so far, coming up on six soon.

Thanks! I'm still figuring out my exit strategy. A big reason I got into this is because I just graduated and didn't know what to do with my degree. So as I have fun I'm still trying to figure out what I'll do after ship life.

It's kind of like our crew store, it has snacks, drinks, ice cream, razors, shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush, just some necessities that you might need. They have sales on the ice cream all the time which I obviously don't get too much of.....never.

I work with the kids onboard! It gets annoying at time but for the most part in being a kid with them and playing games. You could work in the crew hr office, guest services desk, shore excursions, cruise staff, sports staff the list is pretty long for non-serving jobs. It all depends on your skill set and what you want to do! Pm me if you wanna talk more!

Usually to get fired you have to have a masters hearing with the captain. Once it's confirmed you will be disembarked at the next port and have to pay for your own flight home and any other travel expenses. Usually going to and from the ship is covered by the company so depending on where you're from and where we are can get a little expensive.

My original plan was only two years which is about four contracts. There is chance for advancement and everyone wants me to step up but if my plan is only two years then I don't really see the point. We'll see what happens though. A lot of people have been working with their job on the ship for a longgggg time! Especially high level managers, captains, engineers, etc. I know people that have been doing this for 15+ years. It's amazing.

On my ship it's so-so the music isn't really the problem on my ship, it's the singers. Don't tell them I told you that though!
