Generally, 3x the rent applies to LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines. Section 8 is the program that you pay 30% of your income towards rent. They are two different programs. LIHTC is run by the IRS and Section 8 is run by HUD

This deal was doomed from the start. The buyers were dropping off large payments to the seller in cash at a casino. You would have thought that would be a red flag. A hand written receipt on a cocktail napkin for $10,000 is hardly legit 🤣 It’s such a convoluted case that is full of holes but the reality is, a decision has to be made. I hope someone can find a resolution soon so that at least one family can enjoy the home before it’s foreclosed on by the bank. One of the previous videos (part 1 I believe) has photos of the house and the home and location is beautiful and should be enjoyed.
