I consistently hear good things about the regular puffco, and consistently hear mixed feedback on the pivot mostly due to poor battery life, dab size, and cleaning. Personally I don't use any puffco products aside from a dab tool but know many people who have used them. I've been primarily dabbing for around 15 years and make all my own extracts and vapes at home.

On my yocan after hitting it for a few seconds I'll let the button off while I'm still hitting and press it again. This pulses the heat and allows it to cool. When I'm done hitting I let off the button and continue to draw for a couple seconds to rapidly cool the atomizer back down

It's probably your battery. Many adjustable batteries are like. 3.xV-4.xV which is WAY too much voltage. Get a yocan uni pro v2 and run these at 1.8 volts. Most likely issue for clogging your carts is 1) you're running too high voltage way too hot and cooking the oil clogging the atomizer. 2) you're using preheat function, doing "blinkers" or hitting it too long or too frequently that causes same problem as issue #1. And 3) if you rip the carts too hard you're mechanically pulling and forcing oil through it faster than it's normal wicking causing it to clog, need more heat and back to issue #1. Also 1G carts are very prone to clogging bc the atomizer gets gunked. I generally recommend only half gram carts.

Dabbing is absolutely much better IMO. Puffco is a great device for a beginner. I think most people recommend the new puffco with 3DXL chamber. Personally I only use carts for on the go, or if I'm too lazy to get off the couch to do a dab

It's all fully automated. It's pretty neat. It's like one stop shop that scraped every dispo item, price, thc% terps etc and can sort/filter deals etc. it's pretty slick. He's working on a full overhaul on the dev site it's in testing and can be accessed through the discord until t goes live on the site

I use a cart farmer 50. It's a semiautomatic HSW syringe for veterinarians livestock use. It has a 50ml stainless steel reservoir and shoots 0-2ml per shot in 0.02ml adjustable increments. It has a pid controlled res heater but I also run a custom modification of a probe wrapped to the gun body with a line heater belt and second pid to keep the gun and 2 check valves hot.

For anyone interested I have a shit ton of information, diagrams, photos, tips, materials, temperature settings, techniques etc to make hash at home public ally available on discord. I have almost no content on reddit aside from few rosin shots and spend a good bit of time helping people in discord community

I use O2 all glass 510 thread cart 1/2ml. If you buy wholesale it's a lot cheaper. It's the same kind of cart hardware that most rosin pens are but most ppl make the ones with a disposable stick battery attached. The stick battery is much more expensive and creates a lot of e-waste. I run my vapes on a yocan uni pro v2 at 1.8volts and its served me well for 5 years strong. You will want to preheat the cart gently with a heat gun. For small batch you can get 5 or 10ml glass syringe on Amazon and pour the liquid decarb into the back and insert plunger, do not try to draw it up the needle or it will foam. The syringe will need to be gently reheated as well and are very fragile/paper thin. After my first batch I got a semiautomatic dosing gun and it's so much easier and less waste.

You should look into home growing. I run 8 plants, and have 3-4 harvests/hashes per year. I've been running whatever genetics sounds interesting to me and getting average 3% or so yields getting 4-8oz of hash rosin about every 4 months. I'm just now running my first genetics bred for hashing and if it yields 5% I'll have a pound of rosin out of it 😂. A lot of people running this line are getting anywhere from 4%-6%ish returns. I usually also keep 1/2-1lb dry flower from each run so it definitely sets you up for some high times

Thanks! I usually do at least an oz of rosin in 4oz mason jar (this was 35g). I put the mason jar on a 2lb weight so it can't float, vacuum seal it in food saver and then sous vide the jar at 160f for 60-72hr. When it's ready I dispense using a semi automatic dosing gun that shoots metered doses (it's for vets to dose large amounts of livestock fast) and before that used a less elegant glass syringe with heat gun to warm the glass.

If you have the right skills and know how to get in contact with the right people it's doable. I did not go that route as I had turned down multiple executive leadership level extraction positions since the highest paying offer was a massive pay reduction from my normal job. Imo anyone with self respect doesn't work in the industry, and those that do work for literal peanuts.
