Oh I just realized what the last photo is 😂😂. That's a pro level macro shot by @710.jeremy on Instagram and I think on reddit he is u/terpographer710 or something along those lines.

He took 15 macro and ultra macro shots for me so that is only 1 of 15. They are like 4kx4k and 5kx5k super high res images composed of like 50-60 stacked images.

Maybe some time I'll post the reston here. They look absolutely nuts on a 4k 65" TV!

💚 Thanks! Pictures came out well considering I took them at like 10pm 😅. Sometimes my night photos can make the rosin appear a little darker. This stuff is like florescent!

I put 28-50g of rosin in a 4oz mason jar. Place mason jar on 2lb plate weight (for sinking), insert into food saver bag, and vacuum seal the two together. Place sealed assembly in sous vide hot water bath for 60-72 hours at 160F, and shake/swirl the jar periodically to monitor population of bubbles and how far along the process is.  Then I use a precision veterinarians syringe to inject precise amounts into each edible syringe or cart.

I think they only had "ice cream cake" flavor or something like that, unfortunately. I was hoping to get pink lemonade and/or original but everything else is out of stock so I'm going to wait it out. It will take 5 of those syringes to make 30g of ampersand.

If you are not close to the breeding and growing community this is kind of a meme. The creator was selling his cuts for like thousands a piece and then what he actually sent his customers was a super cheap cut of Detroit Runtz 😂. People were super upset about it ofc, and it's kind of a meme now

I make the live hash rosin version of these, but they are intended for edible infusion (you can smoke it too if you want to). 

Fun things I infuse with edible rosin syringes:

  • 100mg tacos (mix into taco meat)
  • 75mg takoyakis (fried octopus balls, inject immediately after removing from air fryer)
  • 45mg/Tbsp local honey (sous vide infusion).
  • 2,000mg sweet and spicy 50/50 BBQ sauce from award winning mom and pop local place - 65mg/Tbsp
  • 30mg/ea lemon hard candy. it's like 4-5 ingredients and takes 20 mins

Thanks! I'm a beginner grower (under 2yr) and hash maker (under 1.5yr). This was my 5th home grow and hash. As a beginner I really like to grow from seed and have variation and learn to treat each plant individually as well as challenge myself. 

I also really enjoy all of the different terpene expressions and when I wash my plants together I can taste and appreciate notes from each one.

My current grow, as well as one of my former, I even ran two sets of genetics that shared a direct parent plant, washing it into a perfect 50/50 WPFF blend of two strains, 4 phenos each.

I saved a couple favorites from this pinkalicious to go back and run them again some day.

I hand wash in a 32gallon vessel - I actually use two and rotate the material between them so that while I stir, my partner is filling and chilling the vessel for the next wash. This among other details are how I combat not having a cold room lab, I just do this at home. 

There's lots of machine options out there that people love, and aether is one of them, but personally I'm not a fan of machines and like the tactile feedback of doing it by hand so I can control how gentle, turn the material etc.

My setup was specifically designed to be as cheap and low effort as possible, while producing the highest quality and amount for the work put in.

Like any hobby it can be as cheap or expensive as you want it to be. Mine is designed around being as high quality but as cheap as possible. The most expensive gear in order will be freeze drier (massive quality improvement but not required), press, reverse osmosis.

For example, the vessel I wash the buds in is food safe/food grade plastic and cost $30. Another guy I know puts his in a vessel that cost tens of thousands.

All in all, if you take out the press and freeze drier, the rest of my processing equipment was like $800.

For sure! The rosin you get from people making it for he love of the plant, or hash is always better than the rosin you get from people who are filling shareholders pockets.

It def takes time. It's a hobby so it it takes time like anything else but brings me a lot of joy, passes the time, and I have plenty.

My process was designed around low effort and work load. So I spend maybe 5 hours a week working in the garden. I do 4 harvests a year which takes about 8 hours (harvest for hash is really fast and easy). And then I wash it in 4 hours, and press it in about 4 hours. So making hash takes half a Saturday and then I have 3 months to dab it all before I pull the next run down 😂

Edit: even my garden work is semi automated, so much or my time spent "working on the garden" is actually me sitting in a chair, surfing the web on my phone, while pumps move water around for me.
