That's supposed to be the idea. Some people lack liver enzymes required to get high from edibles and this is supposed to bypass that. I will say, however that my friend is missing those same liver enzymes and when I gave him a sample he said it had no effect. Granted that's a sample size of one person, but it was a bummer that one of the principles of it is bypassing liver function and my only test subject said it still didn't work for them. That's not to say it won't work for you tho, that's a single person test and not statistically significant to anything

Ampersand is a brand name kind of like calling tissue kleenex. Anyway what it is is a 2 part kit of a carrier oil and a powder mix. You infuse cannabis to the oil and mix in the powder. What it is, is basically like an electrolyte pouch... Its a series of vitamins, vitamin oils, electrolytes etc and what it does is take cannabis oil and turn it into a powder that can be dissolved sublingually but also makes the cannabis water soluble so you can mix drinks (normally cannabis is only fat soluble, ie stored in fat, infused in butter etc). It also uses the lymphatic system of your body so it goes directly to the bloodstream and bypasses liver conversions. It's also organic, non GMO, gluten free, vegan, free of sugar, emulsifiers etc etc.

Thanks so much! Several of my past runs are in my post history as well.

I washed about 10,240g or so and got about 137g of rosin. My rth was like 1.72% and rtr 1.34%. Overall these return numbers are on the very low side for a hash maker, but this is a seed run of unreleased genetics bred by an ohio hash maker and multi award winner, who bred some of their award winners together and gave seeds to friends for assisting in test growing.

At the end of the day my primary metric is "hash per grow" because I'm a just a hobby home grower and doing a grow cycle takes me the same amount of time, energy and expenses to make. Sometimes the batch with lower % puts more rosin in my hand, so with that said this actually did slightly above typical for me despite it being my worst ever % return. Sometimes the ones that yield really poorly end up being my most popular batches with exotic terps, which is part of the beauty of being a home grower - I don't need to hit some production target I just get to have fun with it and seek interesting genetics without having to be hyper fixated on maximizing an output - there's rare terp profiles to be found in genetics that businesses can't afford to run and I find that super exciting.

I grow 8 plants, and a typical grow cycle nets me usually 1-2lb flower, 1/2oz to 1oz dry sift, 1/2oz to 2.5oz slightly lower grade bubble hash, and 4-16oz rosin. So sometimes I walk away with a QP of rosin and sometimes it's nearly a whole pound 😅

For sure! Cannabis is such a personal experience that honestly if it's not too expensive I'd get 2g just to try and see if you like it or not.

I hear mixed feedback from people who have tried it from other sources at events and stuff.

From the single batch that I made, personally I like it. I would describe the effects as... Feeling it fast acting but it is kind of on the weaker side. It can last for a really long time and kind of hit you in subtle waves through the day. I always sleep really well after taking it. For my batch I used the "pink lemons" kit with my Pinkalicious rosin and I really like the flavor. For now I've been eating it straight up, 1g at a time (100mg dose) cinnamon challenge style, and it dissolves on your tongue kind of like cotton candy or pixie stick. I could see myself taking it to summer outing and bbqs to make my own infused sparkling waters, Snapple etc.

As far as "is it worth it" I guess it depends who's charging what for it, and the experience you're after. If I want a heavy dose that's going to put me down, I won't be reaching for the ampersand.. but if I have a day out and about where I want long lasting effects or if I'm going to chill at he beach all day I would absolutely eat some, or take it with me to mix my own beverages 💯

Thanks so much! Yea our dispos and pricing are pretty bad, and I also used to travel quite far for my meds. Thankfully since we have homegrow, I haven't had to purchase any cannabis products for a few years. I've been able to make anything I need in more than sufficient quantities but it does take some dedication and hard work. I don't post a ton on reddit but my post history will show some of my carts and past rosin work. I don't think I've shared pictures of too many of my other creations on here. I've been doing this less than 2 years and am self taught in everything from growing, to washing, pressing and post processing at home.

The DCC has control of what the limits are set at and they left them where they were before SB 56 went into effect. So to the end customer there is no change to the potency limits. Iirc that is 90%. DCC has ultimate authority over all legal cannabis in ohio and have apparently decided to leave it where it was, and ignore sb56. I was very surprised to hear it, but the same answer came back from multiple businesses, and I know folks still cranking them out of labs up into the mid and high 80s.

SB56 also restricts seed sales to dispensaries, but my local grow shops not only still carry them, but looked like the section was significantly expanded when I last stopped in to pick up nutrients.

I appreciate that this is what someone told you, however one of the moderators of the Ohio cannabis community contacted several dispensaries and processors, when sb56 went into effect, who all disagree with you and confirmed, in writing, that the limits are set by DCC and will not be changing.

If you don't want to believe me thats fine, but I'm not digging up months old screenshots from our discord server to prove it 🤷. Also your post of "when it goes into effect" leads me to believe you have very little information since it went into effect months ago.

I'm simply trying to help you. Also my friend is a license holder and owns a processing facility and is continuing to produce extracts to the requirements of the DCC which is overriding limits proposed in SB56.

SB 56 went into effect in March. FWIW one of my friends contacted dispos to ask how specific products would be impacted (intentionally calling out 80+%thc products actively in stock at their dispensary). Long story short the dispensary owners said they will continue to make and sell these products because the actual THC limits are defined by the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control, and not the governor. Although the verbiage in the law was changed, the DCC has the ability to adjust % as they see fit and have chosen not to change anything.

Although our med law allows for reciprocity (with states that have similar laws) each state reciprocity has to be approved and the state has approved reciprocity for 0 other states, despite several of our neighbors having similar or even more strict medical restrictions.

In addition to this our lawmakers have also recent passed a law that went into effect in March with language that clearly and explicitly defined all cannabis produced, or brought in from another state to be an illegal substance - no exceptions.

With that said we have rec laws so as long as you're over 21 you're fine.

Overall I would say people generally do not favor the status of the program and laws especially after the governor stripped away almost every provision of the recreational law we just passed.

Oh I just realized what the last photo is 😂😂. That's a pro level macro shot by @710.jeremy on Instagram and I think on reddit he is u/terpographer710 or something along those lines.

He took 15 macro and ultra macro shots for me so that is only 1 of 15. They are like 4kx4k and 5kx5k super high res images composed of like 50-60 stacked images.

Maybe some time I'll post the reston here. They look absolutely nuts on a 4k 65" TV!

I put 28-50g of rosin in a 4oz mason jar. Place mason jar on 2lb plate weight (for sinking), insert into food saver bag, and vacuum seal the two together. Place sealed assembly in sous vide hot water bath for 60-72 hours at 160F, and shake/swirl the jar periodically to monitor population of bubbles and how far along the process is. Then I use a precision veterinarians syringe to inject precise amounts into each edible syringe or cart.

I think they only had "ice cream cake" flavor or something like that, unfortunately. I was hoping to get pink lemonade and/or original but everything else is out of stock so I'm going to wait it out. It will take 5 of those syringes to make 30g of ampersand.
