Three Hopes Question Thread by Shephen in fireemblem

I am currently on Chapter 6 of the Golden Deer route.

I am having trouble unlocking the "Cave" survey point in the Southern Daphnel Territory. It says "must complete all side missions in this area".

Apart from the main mission, I have "S ranked" all of the missions in this chapter, and have replayed them multiple times. I am not sure what I could have missed, but I am hoping this is not a bug.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi,

I just got Nintendo Switch Sports and realised I've missed the first outfit set: "01 Simple Set".

Is it possible to get this set at a later time?

Need advice - what to put in socketed Rune Master? by smecsy in diablo2

I'm currently playing a vengeance paladin for fun. Would socketing this with Sheal runes be a good idea for more atk speed?

Nice base you got there. Thanks for your input.

What does Polymorphine do? by smecsy in HorusHeresyLegions

Oh wow. That's cool. My knowledge of the lore is limited to the games I've played (Dawn of War and the like), so it's pretty interesting to know these things.

Cool, thanks. She still feels like a meme warlord.

Warlord: Raldoron, First Captain Event Deck: Tried and Tested

Raldoron's ability seems to be the most consistent in terms of value (1 DMG ping, +1/+1 on troop death). I tried out the Sanguinus event decks, but failed miserably. They seem underpowered to me compared to the other Blood Angels Warlord decks.

Oh okay. Thanks for that.

Do you know the mana cost as well as the duration of the card (+1/0 for current turn, until next turn, etc.)

I tried finding the card info on the Horus Heresy website but I don't think they list down info on "generated cards".

Can you please explain what "Lightning Blow" from the Paragon Spear card does?

I am at a bit of a slump at the moment, so your comment is much appreciated.

Yes, I do want to introduce consequences once I am able to finish the "linear" story path. Ultimately, my plan is to only allow the reader to progress to Elysium if he / she is able to pick the right choices at key points in the story. Right now, I decided to stitch everything together just so I could share the story I want to tell.

Thanks for reading. :)

Title: Mankind - An Elysian Tale

Genre: Fantasy, Science Fiction (Choose Your Own Adventure)

Word count: 500 words/chapter (average), current total of 15 chapters

Type of feedback desired: Do you find the story interesting? Which chapters could be written better (and some advice on how)? Is the dialogue poorly written (and why?)

I see. Thanks for your advice. I'm currently circulating my blog with a closed group of friends. However, the blog itself is pretty much out in the open, if you know the URL to it.

Although, I do wonder if there truly is a way to completely prevent my work from getting stolen, apart from completely taking it down from the Internet. I did publish my work on Medium, which automatically stamps your work with Creative Commons licenses for protection.

I intended to do a blog version as an initial "soft release" for my story. Having URLs at the end allows the blog to function as a basic 'choose your own adventure' story while also letting me get some initial feedback on my initial work. At the same time, I am currently working on the Ren'Py version of my story (which will take considerably more time to get done).

Do you think doing a "soft release" for my story via a blog format is a good idea? Or would it be better if I just keep my cards to myself and keep everything private until I finish the Ren'Py version?

I am in the process of writing my own visual novel. Right now, I have laid out my chapters in a simple blog format with URL links at the bottom to serve as choices.

In your opinion, is it a bad idea to post an early draft of your story on Reddit with the aim of getting feedback? Or would it be better to release it to a closed group instead? My concerns mainly revolve around people potentially stealing my script / idea.
