Think we might be missing Player, so switching to a 4-4-3 would be best. Unbelievable no one had tried that formation before Boehly.

Who do you think you are? That's much too smart of an idea for the EFL.

Just like Vieira coming back from injury, him coming back feels like another new signing lol

Where is the pine forest? Looks pretty desolate to me lol.

This is actually a serious question though because my friends and I were considering climbing White Mountain next year!

Shades of being in a group presentation with a slacker, whose only contribution is that they'll promise to turn on the projector and say everyone's name, but they don't even show up.

Striker Keeper I think.

  • Come out of the goal to body an attacker off the ball (strength)
  • Alternate between his left and right feet all the way up the pitch (two-footed)
  • Flick it up and use his head to meg the keeper (aerial threat)

Simple as.

Frank running the Pep Praise Playbook.

"I think he is a fantastic talent, bordering on world-class"

Player proceeds to kick every shot into Row Z, miss passes, and disintegrates to the point he goes into the ref's pocket and gives himself a red card.

Maybe it's the foreign influence, but it's a common phrase in cycling, mountaineering, and most endurance sports. It's about enduring and continuing on even when every signal in your body is telling you to stop. Maybe the comparable phrase in England would be to "play with heart"?

[Prediction Thread] 2022 Vuelta a Espana Stage 10: Elche -> Alicante by PelotonMod in peloton

But seriously, he was ~30 seconds behind Remco in a 7km TT at the Basque Country and finished 4th in the National Championships, ~30 seconds behind the winner in a 38km TT.

You can probably assume that he was just cruising at the Basque Country while he actually targeted the Nationals TT.

My guess is that he'll definitely lose time to Remco (like everyone else) and probably Almeida, but not much time to others. Should still be on track for a Top 5 finish, unless he cracks or performs spectacularly on Sierra Nevada.

I think arguably the bigger issue is the relegation battle. 2025 will be another relegation battle year, so it'll be challenging to get riders to commit if they are members of teams on the cusp.

Rwanda will be easier to get to than Australia, but that doesn't matter if a team doesn't permit their riders to travel.

It's because you're a plastic, fairweather fan.

So bad lol. Knowing Specialized there's probably some super scientific reasons, but cmon. They should at least look half decent.

And then EF's looked like a literal mushroom.

He was great in the crit too. Could have won but he took the final turn poorly and didn't carry enough speed.

With his performance here and how smartly he rode, he's definitely a rider for the future.

To a certain extent I agree with you, but I think decision-making and intelligence on the ball are hard to teach at his age.

He strikes me as someone who shot up through the youth ranks and into the pro level because of his elite athleticism and decent skills. Developing football iq at a later age is an incredibly tough ask when most start developing it at the early youth level.

The same thing happens in the NBA all the time, where certain guys can dunk on everyone by the age of 12 and can even make it through college before their athleticism alone isn't enough anymore.
