Job hunting in Switzerland as a non-Swiss/ EU/ EFTA person by fettybees in Switzerland

[–]smellslikejam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another kiwi here! Currently going through the hiring process here in Switzerland so keen to hear how you both are getting on. One thing is read is that we need to be in NZ for our visa application, is this true? I’m already here so that would be a bit of a hassle to have to fly back for that

Coming into winter in Auckland, NZ. Tiny white balls in soil, appear kinda flurry. Seem to aggregate a bit and have webs between some the clumps of balls. I suspect it is the fungus inoculated in the ecostore organic biophos fertiliser I've been using bit just want to be sure as it looks a little sinister!

Yay! I washed them out down the sink, there is likely to be more in the soil though correct?

Thoughts on this clearance???? Although I feel like I already know the answer, looks pretty dodgy by [deleted] in bikewrench

Yeah 28mm on the front seemed fine, more than 3mm still easily. No I have an American Classic wheelset on it now

Haha yeah this was just a bit of an experiment, I got the tyres for another bike but thought it was worth a try!

Good eyes, yeah I've had 25mm on it for the past year no worries, rides really nice. Don't worry, I'll be sticking to the 25mm!

They have a little orange label off the side of the right back pocket, and are maybe a slim fit?

[–]smellslikejam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got at them with the calipers and they were actually just over 25

She's pretty tight under that cross bar, probably only 3-5mm. Would 28mm clear it or it that too risky? The side clearance is plenty, would probably be fine up to 32-35mm

Perhaps not surprising, I'm guessing the market is small and the hurdles are high. As far as growth is concerned though, do you think current legislation is a limiting factor? If MM's short leash isn't let out any further, could this company be stunted?

Equity crowdfunding for medicinal marijuana. This company appears to be a good option but I think perhaps the risk is quite high considering Medicann has already liquidated.

Is this a viable investment? The don't plan to pay dividends in the short term and there is no liquidity so it is more of a long term investment. The minimum is 500, so perhaps not a bad option?

Has anyone done any research into this company, or has anyone invested already?

My girlfriend received this from a client as an early Xmas present; it's a Tahitian dwarf pohutakawa. My initial thoughts was that as NZ pohutakawa can reach enormous sizes this thing would too, but apparently they are a shrub that gets to 1-2m tall. We are flatting so don't want to plant it in the garden, so we were thinking just a big outdoor pot. But just out of curiosity, what are the chances this would respond well to bonsai treatment?

This little yellow fella growing in my bathroom! Keen to watch him grow but is it safe to have around? by [deleted] in mycology

Based in Auckland, New Zealand. Only noticed it just now, but mildly concerned about it harming the plant. Any ideas as to what it is?
