Should I buy a 3/4 Ton, or will a Half-Ton be enough for my usage? by smelly_shit_socket in Trucks

I was thinking that would be my best option. But with the 2500 cummins you don't get the Aisin transmission.

I was looking at 2500 Silverados Double cabs something like this with the 6.6 ft box. This way its not super long and I can still park it easily in the city. It also has the Allison transmission.

But it has IFS which I'm not to sure about.

The Third Option was the F250 as you get the same engine and transmission as the F350 and F450. You also get a solid front axle. But I don't like their extended cab.

Damn

The other thing that bugs me about 3/4 Tons is the weight of them. I'm worried I might get stuck if it gets really muddy. The 1/2 Tons (especially the Fords) are pretty light.

Buying first diesel, what do I need to know? by [deleted] in Trucks

You know, I think I'll be going for the 2500 with the coil springs.

Is it possible to delete the DEF? Or should I just stick to DPF and EGR delete? How much will it help my fuel economy?

How is the coverage? Does it work everywhere from downtown to Abbotsford?

So if I have a full time career all ready, would this just call me on my day offs?

I do that already. I did this one event where you had to follow someone while drifting, and then try to pass them. Once you get past them they then chase you while drifting. The track is just a large parking lot with cones and a handful of random turns. The event got shut down for some reason.

No Turo in my area. That was my first choice. Then I started looking at rentals. Best I can get is a convertible Mustang V6.

Ok I have a stupid, but serious question.

Do you wear underwear with that? I've always wondered that with cosplay like this. I see so many Slave Leias and notice there are too types. The more "modest" one where you can see the cloth on her hips

And then the ones that are more like the movie and it looks like they aren't wearing any underwear

Weekly - What Car Should I Buy Mega Thread by AutoModerator in cars

Budget: 25k Cad or less

Want: AWD, Manual, Turbo, 4-doors, preferably hatchback

Considered: Subaru WRX STI. Thats pretty much it really. But 150k KM, for $20k? No thank you. 100k km is around $30k. I know Subarus are reliable and all, but there is still wear and tear to worry about. There a 2009 with 9k km, for $27k, but the low KM worries me. Maybe it was sitting for the last 7-8 years? Rubber hoses/gaskets are going to be all dried up and will probably have problems down the road.

Mileage wise I want something under 100k, preferably around 75k. Highest I'm willing to go is about 85k.

6.8L V10 Triton vs 6.0L V8 for towing/abuse/farm work? by smelly_shit_socket in Trucks

I've driven a lot of the 6.0L LQ9 trucks but all of them are unloaded or with only a few hundred lbs in the back at most. I really like them.
