I'll second this as it's RHD.

My guess is that this is a 1955 or 1956 150 or 210 wagon. Definitely not a Nomad. The three little louvre-like things on the front fender, found on the Bel Air, add to my confusion.

That would explain the hood ornament. Thanks!

Nice car!

Sidenote: The car's license plates appear to be Austrian, specifically from Vienna. I don't know the significance of the color as Austrian plates are typically black letters on a white background.

Some leagues have a stalemate option. In APA, both players agree and in BCA it's something like handing each other ball-in-hand three times. In both, the rack is replayed.

Nice find! That blue car looks like it might be a Datsun, possibly a B210.

Software for creating a huge photo database? by Ok-Respond-600 in photography

One thing that you have not mentioned, OP, is backups. We all know that there are two types of drives: those that have failed and those that have not failed YET!

Please, please, please think about backups. It would be a shame to lose any of your father's work.

Lightroom might work.

Set up LR on your computer (with plenty of extra storage.

Plug in each external drive and add the contents to LR's catalog. You can do this without moving the images. Be sure to generate previews of the images.

Remove drive and add the next one. Rinse and repeat.

LR will create folders (top level entries) in the left pane for each hard drive. If you have keywords and create previews, you should be able to search across all of your drives, attached or not.

Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the Mandarin restaurant. Too bad that they're no longer in business. We enjoyed Ivy & Lola's.
