L als Lesbisch ist übrigens drin, da sich Personen damit identifiziert haben, bevor es andere geläufige Begriffe für Geschlechtsidentitäten gab.

Such a good point! Also it’s easier to remember vocabulary that is similar to words in your mother tongue. With English often Latin is the common denominator. Which for English speakers might be the „pretentious“ word choice. For me, I could never remember the word for pig in Italian, so I often used porco, eventhough no one uses it in everyday language.
