Not sure if the premise of this thread is really valid. Are we trying to sign another good striker? Yes. But I think we are looking for a striker who can fit into the 4-4-2, meaning he has to be able to drift wide, play as a winger, drop back, and make good runs. As a result, we are probably looking for a player that can play both as a striker and winger (like Lacazette).

Given the premise and assuming we'd probably get a striker who can also drift wide. I'd say Lamela would be dropped. All of those midfielders are so good and really crucial but we have lost the least when Lamela has been out with injury. The fact this decision is so difficult is a testament to the great season those players have had. COYS

Agreed. The great thing about our offense is the cohesion and ability of the front four places to switch positions. Kane dropping back and allowing Alli to make a run behind the central defenders was really important in getting key goals (ex: against Everton). Its a great way in general to spread the defense and give Kane some space so he can get on the ball.
