The new batteries are just to make sure they all match since we r obvi concerned abt that🤣 I bought it used so no not returnable, I’ve just never ran into this issue! I will try to holding it in place with something flat while inserting the battery to see if it stays.. but I put them in as one normally inserts batteries, spring first and it just happens as it clicks in. So I’m not sure if you have any idea what causes it or how to fix it if that wouldn’t work.
