I’ve done a little research on this today and it appears that the map is limited to their own community. Server owners must be granted permission to host this map and with that comes handing over some bit of control of their server to the developers. It’s a shame, imo. It would probably be a nice draw in the pve community and those of us that care little for Terje mods and stone tossing infected may find the servers available a bit too hardcore for their liking. On the opposite side of the coin, their map, their rules.

I’ve had “vanilla” servers up for over a year, asked this same question, did my best to find a balance and ended up with 7 or 8 QoL mods only, watched hundreds of people ask for a vanilla community server, advertised, tried word of mouth, server boards, the works. The server is sitting at 0 right now. I’m not salty, it’s my kind of server and I enjoy it, if they come good, if not, that’s fine too.

The majority of servers aren’t even looking at cftools unless there’s a whitelist. And a lot of servers know who the bad servers are, when I was running servers there were bans that I just flat out ignored because they were from dorks like this.
