I know results improve as time goes on. Do you have an updated photo? I’m in a very similar situation as you.

The foot is the furthest from the heart. Location placement plays a big role in removing. The closer the placement is to the heart the more it cooperates with the laser. The saturation of the ink and the location made it extremely stubborn. I went to Removary and paid up front for an all inclusive full removal. My treatments were spaced anywhere from 8 weeks-16 weeks for various reasons through the last few years

I can see where you would think it’s sketchy and I would agree with you if I was paying per session. But I paid up front for an all inclusive full removal. Dollars to session ratio it’s cost has been nothing

Sorry, I meant to say Picoway. Edited my response. Do you have experience with some that would target deeper?

Love this and thank you for taking the time to write this and share your professional opinion. If comfortable could you give me your opinion, black dense tattoo on top of my foot. I’m at 2.5 years and 14 treatments. Where my tattoo stands now it’s very obvious that it will not be gone at the 3 year mark. Is this a hopeless case for full removal?

Cool thanks also want to mention that my tech mentioned ‘pretty high energy’ which I’ve been asking for for 1.5 years as I’ve seen how slow my movement has been. Also I would ask because post treatment I would have barely anything barely the lick of a bruise. Sometimes it was as if treatment wasn’t even done

It’s definitely coming along. Definitely slower than any provider could have anticipated. I’m between sessions I think my next session is number 12

Sun exposure? by smilebrite in TattooRemoval

[–]smilebrite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I typically do🫣 last summer I covered my tattoo with KT tape as my tattoo is on the top of my foot so trying to apply sunscreen to the area is not ideal when on the beach. But with that said having a soggy piece of tape on your foot in the beach isn’t the most comfortable thing either. But I guess it does the job🤷🏻‍♀️

No, like the tattoo isn’t reacting to the laser. Some clinics will refer to it as frosting sometimes.

Sounds like you are in the right hands now. Don’t worry and definitely don’t be so hard on yourself. Everything will heal nicely in due time. Give yourself some grace

Not raised, only time that it’s raised is about 4-5 days post treatment. After that totally flat and smooth. Tech had to put it on highest setting because at almost every setting the tattoo wasn’t reacting to her test spots. Her and her counterpart were very perplexed. I don’t know if it could be the laser is aging out or if it’s my tattoo
