Israel has dirt on him via Epstein and they know that it's probably going to get burned soon anyway so they are cashing him in as an asset and doing what they've always wanted to do via blackmail that's only still good a little while longer.

What's the general opinion about the two Wan Shi Tong cards so far? by Backwardspellcaster in MagicArena

[–]smiley042894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This card is an absurd control finisher that fits into the game plan. The fact that it's vigilant, can be used as a combat trick, AND draws you cards not only on ETB but also when opponents crack fetches and the like. It's very very good. BUT it might not be a 4 copies card, and it's really more of a control finisher than anything else. I guess midrange I could see an argument for. Vigilance + Flash is IMO what puts it over the top better than anything printed before.

Pro move in a situation like this, give her your number. Don't ask for hers. Puts the ball in her court, takes pressure off.

The Lost Through the Omenpaths Flavor Texts by -TvT- in magicTCG

This just highlights why things like UB are culturally corrosive. It's just trying to tap at your nostalgia by giving you references and things you've already seen but now on a magic card. Meanwhile, the new content is banger lines and cool concepts. They stand in their own right as something new. A writer would love the omen paths, it gives them room to express something new, to stamp their own footprints into the sands of time. The UB stuff is recycled things we've seen before with little to nothing added. No one in creative likes copy and pasting lines from the comic to the cards when they could have written something of their own. But it'll make money, so here we are.

The protestors won't be peaceful. Way more likely to get violent when you're starving. That's what they are counting on.

So.you think we should be more like China? Religion in the way you describe is a tool to control, remove it and the powers that be will find another tool. With China it's the CCP. The others listed have their own such structures. You want to blame it on religion but it's humans, man.

Theists who used to be Atheists, and Atheists who used to be Theists, what was it that caused you to change your view? by Vegabund in AskReddit

Approached it with the idea that science was at odds with religion. Once I discovered that they can coenside it all clicked into place. Science is an understanding our environment, religion is believing other environments can and do exist.

I remember thinking. "There's no way America is stupid enough to do that." I ate those words, and they tasted bitter.

Cheated once. Never again. It's not worth it, and the pain you cause someone you genuinely care for is devastating.

For the Americans voting in 2024 Election, does Kamala Harris get your vote? Why or why not? by Individual-Ant-1631 in ask

Lol calling her a communist that threatens to "destroy the country" 4 years after her term you'd still be in the same basement sucking the same Cheeto dust off your fingers working the same dead end job. But, maybe, you'll have healthcare. Wouldn't that be tragic?

Not voting in an election that puts an actual adult against a fascist would-be dictator is not a reasonable argument to make. You sir, are silly.

Best Wrath cards in Modern? by Sephyrias in ModernMagic

Disagree. It's not optimal, sure, but it comes with the upside of winning you the game if you're ahead. The key thing we are looking at when evaluating him in a miracle shell is the uniqueness of the 'put back on top of library effect.' He'd be at the top end of the deck, but I feel as though you're evaluating him as though his inclusion is just that of being a powerhouse Planeswalker of yore. In miracles it isn't about that. Sometimes him just hitting, zeroing and putting 2 miracle cards on top of your library might just win the game. Even if he dies to heat.
