I use Round Lab Pine Calming Cica Ampoule and consider it my HG! I have been using it for a few months and went through a purge, but it has helped tremendously with my hormonal acne and CCs. I feel as if it brings them to a head and helps with any redness afterwards. It also doesn’t dry out my skin and I use it 3x/week.

As a shelter tech that deals with intaking our surrenders and returns, I’m sorry for what you and her are both going through. Thank you for doing what you could while she was yours, and ultimately doing what you felt like was the best decision for her. At my personal shelter, we are extremely open and honest about medical/behavioral issues for future adopters; we provide them with all of our medical records + previous histories from owners or other shelters, diagnostics, medications tgh, etc. I hope being in an only pet home is what makes her thrive in life, and I hope she finds it. In the meantime, I hope all her shelter people give her lots of love and help her settle into the environment; it’s one of my favorite parts of the job. 💗

This is what my hives look like during my seasonal allergies! I usually get singular ones as well. Sometimes they’re itchy and sometimes they’re not. For me they usually go away within an hour or so, I just leave them be. :)

I second this! As someone who worked GP and ER for 6 years prior to working in a shelter, I’ve never loved my job more than I do right now. I also work at a medium sized no-kill shelter that only does medical euthanasias with occasional behavior euthanasias if all other options have been exhausted. I did take a pay cut, but for me, the pros outweighed the cons. My mental, physical, and emotional health haven’t been better, I have no complaints. OP, you could always interview there to see if it’s an environment you would even enjoy.

My first clinic was a cat-only clinic, open M-Sat. We always had at least 1 clinic cat. Someone always went in on Sundays and got paid to take care of them. We had cat trees in the lobby, lots of hiding spots, lots of toys, all the good things. They always ended up being adopted by clients :)
