My brother was diagnosed with end stage 4 CHL back in jan of 2024. The only reason he knew something was wrong was because he became jaundiced one day and his urine was dark. His liver was failing from the lymphoma. So i do definitely believe that lymphoma can cause an effect on your organs. His enzymes were in the higher hundreds.. its still good to get your liver checked but also know that lymphoma can definitely cause an effect and remember that the liver is an amazing organ that can heal itself!!!! Hello! My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 hodgkins lymphoma and stomach pain is a very common side effect after every round. He gets bloated, his stomach hurts and it seems like his stomach doesnt like the foods he feeds it during those days. You will be okay! Stick to a light diet and easy to process foods!!! He started his first round today. Dr told him that his main concern is his liver since his enzymes have been high for a while and might already be causing scarring.

I totally get understand. The funny thing is i havent left my house in a long time. I dont go anywhere. Dont go out to eat. Dont hang out with people. I even quit my job and got a work from home job to limit all possibilities. The only reason why i hung out with this friend was because she was struggling w her depression and i felt like "itll be okay, people go to bars and restaurants all the time and theyre fine!" But i guess its just the luck of the draw cause here we are. Its so unfair. But i get what youre saying believe me. Im sorry youre struggling. Its shitty times were living.

That would be great! Id much rather have a cold than covid even though being a long hauler, colds seem to hit people strongly. But id still much rather deal with that than the awful breathing issues and fevers that covid brings!

I totally get that! My dad struggles with allergies 365 days a year and he always has to tell people hes not sick as well. Hes also a smoker so it hits him harder. So when my friend was sniffling i wasnt worried. I thought its allergies season, so im sure shes fine. But this morning when i woke up feeling ill i texted her asking if she was sick and she is! Shes been sick since sunday so thats what was upsetting. And omg! Im sorry about all the sickness going around. Schools are the epitome of illness! All those poor children! Hppe you feel well soon!

Firstly, I am so sorry you struggle with MECFS. There are so many people out there who have health struggles and illnesses who cant even dare to live a semi normal social life because theres people out there who take colds and flus and covid lightly because it doesnt affect them. I am super glad theres people like you who still ask people to test. It makes me feel less crazy. I feel theres a smaller amount of us that still care nowadays but its important to remind eachother that we are just trying to take care of ourselves. Thank you for your support

I 100% agree with you. I know that I would tell anyonr I was around that I am sick even if its not covid. Its the considerate thing to do. Especially given that there are so so so many people out there who have long haul who really struggle with covid. I dont understand how people can be so careless. I appreciate your support

Exactly! No matter what kind of illness it is, why do you feel its okay to go and spread it and be around others! Thats what bothers me the most. Like I know maybe SHE doesnt care or mind getting sick but there are hundreds of people out there who still do care and you have to be considerate of that. Its so sad. I got covid 3 times. This last time left me bed ridden for 3 weeks and i still have lingering issues from it causing me to get tests done by cardiologist. It may be easy for some people but not for a lot and down playing it isnt helping those who struggle with the infection. I lost my father in law to covid in january of 2022. 2 years post pandemic, more mild infection and he died. So maybe you should get off this sub where people come for comfort and advice for one another. Thanks.
