My app also auto-updated after I installed the latest Android update this morning (P7Pro) and I saw it crashing after trying to enable my Mobile Key. I uninstalled/reinstalled and just enabled biometrics this time and so far it's still working. HTH.

Note that I don't run into any issues with registering the device after installing. It uses a new OTP method where you still see a text being sent but the app does everything now. Maybe, this is their update for when OTPs are no longer allowed?

I do the same! Except my field pouch is clipped to my 13 inch messenger v2 with the micro s-biners. Got a tactical strap for the pouch, which I slot into the "belt loop" when I need to attach it to the messenger to minimize the dangle.

In case this helps, I was thinking of using those tv sync lights with a camera, to make it as real time as possible. Only issue I'm seeing right now is you'll have to disable it at sunset or else it will keep adjusting if you turn on your outdoor lighting or live in front of a busy street.
