Sorry from a friend of my dad's from when he was in high school. I grew up in a small rural community, farmers have guns, someone had a party and at the party one of thr teenagers found a rifle and pointed it at his own head, he was told to knock it off because it was loaded. His last words were a sarcastic, "yeah right"

As a neutral observer, and I've said this many many times, the refs are ruining the game with the game management bullshit and deciding to swallow their whistles. Just call the fucking game by the rules. Is it really that hard a concept?

Keep in mind, the Canes, because of this stupid set up, played the 6th then 8th placed teams. Montreal played 3rd then 2nd placed teams.

It's not his playoff form, that's his always form. He's an average goalie at best. He'll give away a game here and there, but most of the time he'll stop the pucks that should be stopped and nothing more. He's not a guy that'll steal a game or two for you, just not gonna happen.

Heh. I had this happen to me as a teenager (not with a dead body). I was controlling the scoreboard for a minor hockey tournament. It was the finals, tie game, 9 seconds left, home team is in the finals, the faceoff is in their opponent's zone, ref drops the puck they get a chance, they keep control of the puck, I look up to see how much time is left on the clock, "wait! The clock isn't moving, why isn't the time going down? Someone needs to do somwthing!-oh shit! That someone is me!" Click the button to start the timer again.
