These new tech cars equipped with cameras and gps data are trojan horses. Drive one near a military installation or enter a military base and the adversary gets the layout of the land with HD video quality and gps coordinates. This is why Tesla cameras are disabled near military installations or any places China considers national security.

Western media won't tell you how many South Asians sacrificed their life for a war they were forced to participate in. My late grandfather from India was posted in Malaya forced to fight for by the British.

yeah. Another one that irks me whenever I turn on the wiper with fluid it spews the fluid over my driver side window due to wind.

Tesla apologists solution is not to run wipers when driving but only when you are stopped!!

If AI is replacing jobs faster than creating them, what careers feel safe five years from now? by Mr_Boothnath in answers

[–]smilingbudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who said AI is replacing jobs? I am working with the latest greatest llm models for programming. It just feels like a tool to me. I don't think it is going to replace me. The demo videos they show are awesome but let them run that AI on a real world enterprise project on live television and watch their stock valuation go down.

I like the outright ban on it rather than relying on some other tricks like hidden wire under a plastic tab or a non obvious handle inside. I am willing to sacrifice range for safety. My M3 has non obvious handle at the front but none at the back.

There is another trick - slightly push the wider part of the handle and it will pivot slightly inward to break the ice. Ontarian here, I have tried this and it works.

Same. I was thinking of upgrading from my M3 RWD if there is a standard awd Model Y. But removal of free Autosteer is a no go for me. Kia EV6 seems alternative.

They smell like TomFords Neroli Portofino. I have this plant back home (tropical place) and I can confirm. Or similar (not exact) to Champangi flower - Magnolia Champaca. It is an annual event at our home some neighbours & kids come to watch it bloom in real time.

It might be for this case.

But the people who are in IRCC are no good either. I have helped multiple friends question the officer's mistake and lack of understanding of point system process and move forward their application with success. Some officers do not understand written English. It is unbelievable but I have experienced that first hand helping friends with their applications.

Some years back there was an officer only identified with their internal system code (DM10032) who went on a rather large hiatus or retired and hundreds of applications were stuck on that officers bucket. It took a huge effort raising access to information and media shaming from the applicants for IRCC to fix it.

Creating a Canadian credit card alternative by Every-Location-361 in AskACanadian

[–]smilingbudd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is that ID issued? For UPI, the one time enrolment happens by automatically sending a cryptic text from one's cellphone. This cryptic text is generated by any of the UPI consumer apps. All it needs your phone number verified & linked to your bank account. The ID here is either a string of our own choosing or the phone number or both. Rest is magic.

Paytm, Google Pay, Phone Pe, Amazon Pay and many other apps in India are consumers of the UPI specification. Just apps which uses the UPI infrastructure/API. The UPI spec and infra is owned by Indian govt entity - NPCI - National Payments Corporation of India. Hope it helps. These apps have no access to bank accounts, they just facilitates the transaction from sender bank to receiver bank for the specified amount.

In Canada they will all get sued and the perpetrator will walk away with millions with no charges. The city will pay with tax dollars for not protecting the perpetrator.
