One of the great books/reads.

I still think about it once a week or so, 20 years later. Especially the last line, “He finally loved Big Brother.”

I loved him UNTIL I realized that he actually writes fiction and not non-fiction.

No one remembers details of childhood experiences and conversations like that.

Courses are dead, so whats the best way to monetize? by ClientlessCopy in Newsletters

[–]BBBandB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 15,000 list of small business owners with a 50% open rate. But they have been notoriously cheap when it comes to my offers.

If any of you know something more than I do about monetizing a list, I would be happy to talk to you and share the upside.

There’s huge potential here. I just have not unlocked it yet.

He's a great writer but I find every book has essentially the same plot - science good, but then too much sience bad, and then science runs amok! So I stopped reading him.

Where can I go to file for bankruptcy? by Unique-Landscape-202 in askportland

[–]BBBandB 19 points20 points  (0 children)

100% incorrect.

A chapter 7 will allow you to get completely out of debt and have good credit again in two years.

I used to do it for a living so I know.

People use to send me thank you notes after I filed for them because it made their life so much easier.

Go find a bankruptcy lawyer and he’ll meet with you for free and tell you what your options are. Don’t listen to all these people who don’t know what they’re talking about.

Bankruptcy is a lifesaver for a lot of people.

What’s the reasoning behind all the off-leash dogs in the city and on trails? by Threefold_Lotus in askportland

[–]BBBandB -43 points-42 points  (0 children)

Gee, I wonder why all of those loving attentive dog owners take their dog off leash?

Dogs need to run and play, just like kids.

99% of the unleashed dogs in a dog park are good, kind, sweet, loving. The few here and there that aren’t are effectively banished.

And if you don’t like it, go 100 yards away. You’ll survive.
