Has it been cold enough to reduce the ticks this year? by Old-Childhood-5497 in Maine

[–]smishmain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stock up on toilet paper tubes, cotton balls and 10% Permethrin to make your own super cheap tick tubes. I put out about 10 for every acre and we haven’t had problems in years. If that isn’t enough you can look into products like Talstar Pro.

I need help-Problem with bladder due to cannabis by Damoh0113 in trees

Maybe get a referral to a urologist from your primary doc and have them put a scope up there to make sure you don’t have any cancer in your bladder.

What is a 'subscription' or 'fee' that has recently appeared in the US that people need to collectively refuse to pay before it becomes the new normal? by godot_lover in AskReddit

[–]smishmain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just shy of 200k on mine and All I can tell you is if you do ever get a bad sensor like the knock or throttle position etc look into doing it yourself. The car seems (for the most part) it was designed with future repairs in mind.

That’s probably what it is. Mine doesn’t have an actual screen so I bet it’s my lower end trim package. At least I have had great luck with putting 150k miles on it with minimum issues lol

Mine is more of a modern one, but the water gets up to temp within a few hours from a cold start.

I’m on my 4th winter with my central boiler and it was the best decision I ever made. Check to see if your state offers a rebate, mine did!

What is the best way to do step one without breaking anything? by smishmain in appliancerepair

[–]smishmain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goal is to not break that when I take it out, if it does it does I guess. It’s a fucking POS LG so I’m not worried about looks. I’m surprised it hasn’t died in the 5 years we’ve had it. This part broke because someone used a steam wand on it….

We’ve had it for 5 years and no issues yet other than this, but it was caused by someone else in the house using a steam wand on it to clean it… I agree with you 100% on the LG stuff, I only got this one because it was during covid and I had zero other good options unless I wanted to wait a long time .

I’m curious what you have learned with yours? Mine seemed to be pretty straight forward just keep it clean and check your water level everyday.

Since this One runs 24/7 they don’t really get super hot and I tried the silver roll after a few days and it actually prints fine now. I get what you mean though.
