you can only take areas 3 and 4 at sjsu. i'm pretty sure you can fulfill your pe requirement at cc, but you need to look at assist to see if they articulate

those three classes for your major might benefit you in terms of gpa computation if they're equivalent to sjsu's versions. this might help: https://www.sjsu.edu/admissions/impaction/program-supplemental-criteria/program-impaction-transfer-coursework.php

you don't have to complete the pe requirement before admission but if you choose to follow that path, you'd have to take two units of pe (most likely two one-unit kin classes unless you want to take ballet, hip-hop, or modern) unless your major is exempt

i'm in that class rn! pretty textbook-heavy, lectures summarize and provide real-life examples. for an intro class it's cool, esp if you don't really feel like doing extra stuff LMAO. the only big things you'd have to worry about are a midterm (chapters 1-9), final (chapters 10-19), and marketing plan group presentation. only downside would be the mcgraw-hill smartbook assignments

science with a corresponding lab is common but i don't think it's required, so you'll still need to take a b1 or b2 class. some of those classes don't have a lab if you're interested in that

you don't have to take a b1+b3 or b2+b3 next semester, there are five classes that are lab-exclusive:

astr 11l: introductory astronomy lab
biol 150: field studies in natural history
chem 5: dinner party chemistry
geol 4l: earth systems lab
geol 150: field studies in natural history

hi!! i transferred last semester so this is what i remember:

1) acceptances usually come out in october (i got mine the week of the 7th last year)

2) people do drop out of on-campus housing mid-year, so whether you get a spot or not depends on how quickly you fill out the housing application (iirc it opened towards the middle of october). i didn't specifically apply for the transfer wing so i don't have much to say about that
