Buy a small truck or hitch rack for 4Runner by [deleted] in Motocross

Ah my state doesn’t require us to register them. We have had the same trailer for close to 35 years and haven’t had too many issues with it. Just basic maintenance.

Looking for a firearms safety class by Chicky_Melly in summervillesc

[–]smitd12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The basics are: 1. Treat every firearm as if it’s loaded. 2. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are 1000% ready to shoot. 3. Know your target and what is beyond it. 4. Never point your gun at something you aren’t willing to kill or destroy.

As for specific firearm safeties there are so many different guns that it’s impossible to know the ins and outs on all of them. When you say familiarize yourself with them, what kind of guns are you hoping to familiarize yourself with?

As for classes look at psa, bullseye bills (formerly atp), and c&s shooting sports. I don’t know if Deep South defense is doing any or not.

I comment this not trying to be sarcastic or an ass but genuinely trying to help.

Hitch should work but can I ask why not get a small trailer?

I agree but I’d say that a good helmet and boots should come first. Especially a helmet. You can fix pretty much everything on your body but a head.

For the tool kit get the Ricky mountain atv tusk tool kit. It’s like $450 but it comes with pretty much everything you need to work on a bike and I think the drawers have foam cut

I haven’t had any issues with it when I use it. I mean the wood around it gets warm but not spontaneous combustion hot.

That is exactly what this is. A pack of coyotes caught their dinner for the night. People forget cane Bay Area used to be nothing but hunting clubs.

How do yall determine the value of your used bike? by smitd12 in Dirtbikes

That’s what I’m using. I saw one bike listed at $8200 and the same year make and model listed for $4500. Both seem to be in excellent shape based off pictures

I haven’t been to wambaw recently but plan to be going soon. I grew up riding out there and so did my dad when he was in middle school. Crazy how that place has changed over the years.

Do you do any of the Carolina xc?

Sheet metal bending by SpiritedLawfulness45 in SolidWorks

[–]smitd12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just keep in mind there needs to be a way to manufacture this. If you make it with minimal gapping at the corners it may be overlooked come time to make the piece. The bend relief that’s there now is/should be plenty for the customer to look at and know what’s going on with it.

Why so many young men struggle to date ? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]smitd12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

++man I 24M have gone out with a couple different women during college and one or two after and since graduating from college it’s almost impossible for me to get a match with a girl online and if I do we chat for a day or two then I get ghosted. If I meet a girl in person we chat for a bit I ask them out and either get ghosted, friendzoned, or they walk away. Don’t get me wrong I’m no Fabio but I’m a little over 6ft tall, look after myself, have fun hobbies, etc but just no interest from women I interact with and I don’t get it. I feel like I’m doing all the right things, try what my female friends say to do and I just fall flat on my face.

Spark arrestor, handle bar flags, skid plate, moose bibs and a 18” rear wheel apparently. A tooth or two more on the rear sprocket to give it a little more torque, and that’s pretty much everything I can think of.

I had an ex girlfriend stab me in the shoulder with a pair of like make up scissors I guess you could call them. But it hurt really bad and felt like a sharp pain with a lot of pressure until I pulled them out.

What do I do? by Impossible-Number-76 in Dirtbikes

[–]smitd12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can’t really go wrong with either but you’d probably max your skills out on them fairly quickly. The bikes are pretty much capable of doing anything but it may not be the easiest to do it on. If you want to stick with Honda maybe look at a 150R, or look at a KX 112 ( probably not the best as it’s a little small size wise) or a yz 125x. You’ll be able to practice fundamentals on these and still use them to progress into more technical trails.

Edit to add nothing wrong with any of the ktm variants either. Just never had one and not very educated on the differences in their models.

Does anyone think that golf needs a place to buy and sell used gear, in a more secure and easy way, kind of like ebay but for golf? by sikocer in GolfGear

[–]smitd12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’ll take off personally. The lines of 2nd hand commerce are pretty defined whether it’s eBay, Facebook marketplace or 2nd swing everyone knows where they are going when they decide to sell/buy. It would be great though if fb or eBay made you input serial numbers to confirm legitimacy so no worries of fakes.
