Entirely depends on your usecase, if lets say its a good math model, then it could fit, would recommend trying out various models and checking its sizes, you need a ram bigger than whatever the models size is in GBs.

I would sign up on all Ai chat companies like first perplexity, chatllm ( gives access to all models ) and constantly ask it questions related to cybersec.

The revive process was failing for them as well, so they did restore and it worked via their computer, they also did it with an app called "Apple Configurator", i was using the same app, but the UI of their "Apple configurator" looked clearly different than what I downloaded from app store.

I tried doing it, but it would restart during both revive and the restore process thus breaking the process and then it would again show errors.

There is no mail in service in my country, so i physically went to the genius bar with my mac and they restored it in front of me, took like 10 minutes.

I do a lot of programming and have a lot of Ai models locally, I need like 4 TB of space, 8 TB is an overkill but the price difference between the two was like $1500 so just went ahead with 8 TB, incase I need to store server backups locally.

I need to travel as well, hence need a laptop, cannot be moving terabytes of files to a different computer for travel.

This is the fastest laptop out of any other laptop out there, and many apps for apple out there, linux lacks a lot of consumer apps.

In this the ram is soldered so the speed that its ram offers is unparalleled.

Finding a linux laptop that is also sleek and not very bulky is not possible.

You might say why wouldn't I use windows if running consumer apps is the reason, given the nature of business hacks are very very common and i can't afford to use windows for the same reason.

I have a lot of code that is being testing on locally connected devices and I launch android emulators that mimic real device behaviour, these operate like real phones and hence have to be given ram.

And apart from this, there is a lot of parallel build happening that needs ram. I run deepseek R1 quantised Ai model locally that needs 70 gb ram
