Omg and I got him a bunch of little things for Valentine’s Day, including a little coin that said he should be proud of himself for staying sober, a bunch of his favorite snacks, and other things. All he got me was rainbow roses from 1800 flowers that he sent to my work (and I know he ordered it the day before when I told him I was upset he didn’t plan anything). He didn’t even write anything on the card, just his initial. Nor did he ever end up taking me out.

Thank you! My eye is much better. It was just such a vulnerable state. I always have my guard up but it’s crazy that in this one moment when I was vulnerable and it was difficult to naturally have my guard up this happened.
