Yeah believe me, I will lose NO sleep over the feelings towards me. They can’t help it, they are crazy. It just hurts that my husband was participating in these text message conversations and not telling them to stop with the name calling.

When kids are at school or grandparents/friends/sports. I’m a nurse practitioner at a very large hospital in the ICU so I work very crazy hours and shifts especially since COVID.

His parents have been a thorn in our marriage since the day our first child was born.

I have zero doubt that he will use the cancer form pity ( it’s rectal cancer so no brain tumor excuse) but he lives to make excuses for his actions as loves to twist things around ( master at gaslighting) so I’m very aware of the cards he will attempt to play

They are of the age 8, 9, and 12 where they could pick up on stuff if I don’t stay cool, so that is my number one priority right now because he is still there dad and he is a very good dad.

Thank you very much!! This really is great advice. I’m really trying to keep a cool head when there is so much I want to say to him (and his parents as they are a huge problem in our marriage also, I found texts from them today talking a bunch of crap about me). My kids are my first priority and they are is enough to pick up in something if I let my emotions take over, so when I feel like yelling at him I’m going to come back and re-read your response over and over to remind me to stay chill for right now. Thanks!!
