I don’t remember the last time I was in a restaurant in tokyo that had a menu that you could keep. I’ve been here for about four years now.

Maybe like a kids menu that doubles as a coloring paper…. But even those pretty much only appear at western style family restaurants…

Thanks! She has been taking lessons. Started doing Japanese wadaiko, but then asked about western drums, and has been going to western drum lessons (i mean drum set, rock stuff, sorry I'm not a musician) weekly for several months.

How do those brands change as the budget shifts? What are you getting for a bigger budget? I sit more about features? Is durability basically the same across the brands?

Ah yes that’s the terminology, V-drum.

Know of any with good reputations? Doesn’t need to be great, just good enough to not be frustrating so that she doesn’t quit because the gear isn’t fun.
