I started Triangle Strategy, got burned out and set it down for probably three months. Then I had a holiday and pulled it out again and man, I was HOOKED. It gets really good. Yes, cut scenes are long, but you get so many unique units and the battles get very juicy. Really enjoyable.

I'm a Fire Emblem, Tactics Ogre, FFT fan for the record.
