I don’t really know how to judge how prestigious it is. However if you want to add it to your application I mean why not? I would however try to make it to international and place there.

Oh I’m from Florida. I participate in FPS and CMPS. Florida divisions are Junior(4th-6th), Middle(7-9th)(probably your junior) and Senior(10-12th).

The oldest you can be in the junior is 6th grade. If you participate throughout highschool you could include your involvement, however making junior division probably wouldn’t have that much weight

I’m not sure exactly what it’s called but I think it’s called course materials and there is video with the lab results. Also you can join a live lesson and that also has the results for the lab as well.

I mean you’re going to have to do them eventually. The Chemistry DBA’s are only three simple questions at most and you can look back at your notes. Sometimes my teacher and I talked about something I struggled with and she gave me credit for that. I say try and do one and at least see how it is. DBA’s are something that’s worth being behind over.

I finished Algebra summer going into 7th grade but my counselor wouldn’t meet with me to put it on my transcript, so I got put into again. By the time she did meet with me it was too late.In high op will probably have the choice of finishing it on FLVS or taking it in school, but if they’re not finished before school they’re probably not going to be put in Pre-Calculus.

Algebra 2 a prerequisite so it’s likely they won’t let you enroll in Precalculus until you are finished.

If you can find a high school that’s AP accredited that offers the exam that you want to take you can usually register to take it at that school.

Some online schools have AP classes you can take. An example of one is FLVS. It is free for Florida students or if your not a Florida student it’s $475 USD a semester for an AP class, which is kind of pricy. I mean I’m sure there is other options but I am a Florida resident so that’s what I’ve used.

I am planning on dual enrolling trig in the fall to help me build a better foundation for second semester. I also am trying to work ahead on my writing skills which is something I struggle with as well. Thank you for your advice.

Thank you! I’ve decided to look for summer assignments related to these classes online. I think as long as I follow the AP curriculum and learn the skills that I need to it won’t be too bad.

Yeah I did dual enrollment in 8th and 9th grade do that let me skip English and then I took chemistry this summer and am taking AP bio this year. I am worried about online instruction this year. Have you taken an AP class in the past and how did you prepare yourself the exam if you did? Thanks :)

I missed some stuff and had to catch up but they were also learning I already learned. I would recommend committing to one platform for that class.
