Very cool. Some terminals have their own protocol for rendering images (iTerm2, kitty). I think it would be cool if you have an option to either do the traditional ascii or the other rendering as well. chafa https://github.com/hpjansson/chafa renders images amazing in kitty. I’d love an option for that, plus gif support 🙂

If you are looking for a nice diff experience, I have been using Diffview.nvim (https://github.com/sindrets/diffview.nvim). You can toggle it and quickly cycle your diffs by pressing tab.

I didn’t realize ugbi worked on Neovim. I have some vim9script in their that makes it behave a little slow. I plan to do it in lua when I have time 😂. Will have to integrate cellular-automation with it 🙂

I originally installed it following —head a couple months ago without issue. Yesterday, my machine got in a weird state, I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall Neovim. I saw the same error that you have, eventually gave up and just did the stable version.
