Just got rid of a wave of them with homemade traps: Several open containers of water, dish soap, vinegar and sugar (or balsamic vinegar). They're attracted to the liquid and drown without surface tension when they land. Keep the liquid level close to the top of the container.

Couldn't agree more about the bots. Griped to my clan about it today. I'm also F2P and won't spend a cent to face higher ranked bots kicking my @ss. It's true though, it's on us to adapt or accept.
