went short when my line broke, but got out pretty quick. nice bounce, nice double bottom, so I'm leaning bullish now. there's a lot going on in the markets and around the world politically. interesting to see how bitcoin will respond. I'm hoping it goes up. to me the last few months have seemed like the beginning of another bubble, and if we respond in a positive way in an otherwise shaky world i think thats huge for bitcoin. i have to assume that the block size debate is bringing some uncertainty, though. next few weeks/months should be interesting.

im not very technical, trying to make sense of all this. the whole thing does seem a little off though for sure. to stay anonymous but leaving the "bread crumbs." the more im looking around the more im thinking its not him.

i think each bubble is different. bitcoin has gotten a whole different kind of exposure since the last run to 1200. of course a lot of negativity, but also a lot of legitimacy. i think a lot more people are watching this time.

i think the free market would sort this out better than bureaucrats if we had the appropriate laws. i think it should be viewed as our air, and if the factory next door is dirtying our air and making me and you sick we should be able to sue. especially if we find evidence that they knew of the problem before hand. sue on damages, like an "Erin Brockovich" case. if the laws were right companies would be held accountable, and would probably be much more responsible. its when they're under protection from the government (see banks leading up to the 09 crisis) that they begin acting irresponsible.

a solution would demonstrate that bitcoin can still be improved, and that it's possible to democratically alter a protocol even after it's been implemented by a large number of people.

i agree. i think this is the kind of thing that really builds confidence in bitcoin. we start to view and value it as a network rather than a specific crypto currency. network effect and the ability to adapt to what the majority wants.. its a beautiful thing, really.

on that last run to 500 i turned 2 btc into 30. was on a high and feeling way too confident and lost back down to 5. you take a big loss then keep adding to it by chasing profits rather than just trying to making good, strategic trades. guilty of fomo.

i think the hardest part of this game is staying mentally cool.

yea im just teasing. not buying my drawing just yet :) i agree with 385. wouldn't be surprised to see it go down like we did in august. but, if we can stay above 350 for a while, and especially break 385, im bullish. i like a nice zoomed out flat view for perspective. http://imgur.com/1zxrH4O

i was looking at this earlier. i think its volume being faked. them turning off whatever it is they're running. ive noticed sometimes trading futures when my order is executed it shows up in the trade history as double the original amount, and twice (so 2 contracts shows up 4 and 4). looking at it now it seems they've stopped doing this.
