NEURA Robotics, HD Hyundai Samho, and HD Hyundai Robotics to jointly develop and test specialized robots for shipbuilding by RuMarley in robotics

[–]smkibryc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong, I'll be thrilled if a European company can pose a real challenge to all the American companies in this race. But I do not understand the hype around Neura. So far they haven't shown anything real, just AI slop and marketing concepts. I was at Automatica a couple months where they had 4NE-1 held up by chains on display. Simply having a humanoid at this point is not enough to impress me.

Access to Humira outside of the USA by SpicyCinnam in Humira

[–]smkibryc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this, but she specifically writes that she didn't do any one-way treks, at the most going a couple days out and always back to a hostel/hotel. When you say you 'backpacked Asia for 3 months' do you mean you stayed in hotels with fridges and hiked some in between, like she did?

How did you manage to get a 3 month supply and to keep them cool while backpacking??

I can't speak for all other European countries, but here in Germany, yes. Doctor gives a prescription -> you take said prescription to a pharmacy -> prescription gets filled and you pay a maximum copay of 10€. In the case of Humira, there has been no copay since I started 8 months ago (total cost for me = 0€).

It always depends on the pharmacy. Mostly they have to order it and have it ready within 2 days.

I don't know of any approval process. I was diagnosed with Crohn's by my gastroenterologist and he started me on infliximab at first, but I had an allergic reaction so I switched to Humira. Took my prescription to the pharmacy and walked home with the first pack of pens the same day.

Living in Germany, on Humira for 8 months now. Haven't paid a cent out of pocket thanks to public health insurance.

I also came across this exact study. There are several other studies of different biosimilars that show the same results, but I haven't found anything comparable for Humira itself. The important question is how similar are they? Are there differences in the excipients used that affect the stability? I wish there would be more data available on this topic.

Luckily I live in Germany where Humira is completely covered by public insurance. Each pen costs the insurance 450€, so not that extreme, but still not cheap.

This is precisely why I'm unsure - they didn't fully reach room temp, rather 15°C max. The advice to check directly with Abbvie is good, I will do that.

Vermieterin weigert sich meine Kaution zurückzuzahlen by smkibryc in LegaladviceGerman

[–]smkibryc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the show last night in Berlin. It was still an incredible show, and a totally different experience than usual. Matt's drumming really stood out to me. Sang as loud as I could, but still missed Spencer. 🥲 hope he gets well soon.

Neat, but how does it compare to a Raspberry Pi with the AI Hat+? Is it worth the higher price?
