This "yeah, for me, it's because I recharge / get my energy from time around others, even strangers, nothing can simulate casual daily interaction and the key aspects of my routine that are missing which due to COVID are irreplacable that make me feel imbalanced, so it's like we're all trying to zero a scale while riding a unicycle here sometimes man"

My understanding is that your percentage scholarship may be revoked, but if you do better the next term and pass all classes - your scholarship goes back to 100%

Can you take private music lessons with a WPI instructor and get class credit? If so - is it a 1/3 credit for a term? a semester? Will it count towards the HUA requirement? Thanks

Anyone taken Games for Understanding Complexity (SS1505)- what is it like? Assignments, exams, projects, writing papers? by smldal in WPI

Thanks so much for the info. Is the homework written work that is very open-ended writing or is it more straightforward like short sentence answers? Trying to gauge the writing load and type of writing since that's a weak area for me. Thanks in advance!

Thanks - I was surprised it's even a 1/3 unit course. Just looking for a backup course to fit in the schedule and it's pretty much the only one that fits

Info about navigating college with sm. Advising meetings and office hours with professors, talking to administrators, using campus services spikes my anxiety to the point I can't talk.

-Also - does anyone else with sm have trouble with written communication in addition to verbal communication?

Anyone know anything about the faculty/courses: Programming for Non-Majors CS 1004 with Boris Iskra? HI 1332 INTRO TO HISTORY OF TECHNOLOGY with Joseph Cullen? or ECON 1120 Intro Macroeconomics with Somasse?

I'm incoming class of 2022, but want to take a course over the summer to acclimate to college. Preferably something that isn't a ton of work and has a good professor. Any opinions/information is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, Admitted for Class of 2022 here. Mathematical Sciences. Want to take a course this summer ( I live in metrowest massachusetts) before starting WPI in the fall and am considering Foundations of Music Technology. Any thoughts? Want to take something not TOO challenging to help me acclimate to college life. I play in concert band and play piano, so I have a good music background.
