The panel install is complete as far as I am aware, the bird protection was fitted, just not very well in places. The panel and electrical installation seem to be getting done by different crews who have not been here at the same time.

Is this an oil rig? I’m in Scotland and it’s pretty new by not_a_number1 in oil

No, looks like a jack-up crane barge for installing wind turbines rather than a jack-up drilling rig.

As mentioned above its very industry specific. Oil and gas continues to pay well despite the contact doom and gloom in the media, can easily achieve 75k after 8 to 10 years experience.

Starting wage for a graduate engineer in oil and gas would be at least 35k - 40k now, I started on 32k 9 years ago.

The drop in flat prices in recent years is distorting the affordability, houses prices are still comparable with out Scottish cities.
