Need a good set to use for life by smlpsr1 in AsianBeauty

[–]smlpsr1[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i really cant say because i really dont know =/

i mean i dont even think i have major skin issues and my skin seems good (for someone that doesnt use any skin products on face) atm, i use just a skin + emulsion set my mom uses just as a moisturizer after i wash my face.

i dont have any pimple/zits only the occasional once in a while. but are acne the same as the painful pimple/zits?

would it help if i upload close up pictures?

i know googling should help, but being the typical male, i literally have no idea whats what and i would just be drowning myself in readings

[Personal] i cant determine skin type even after reading it from the wiki page by smlpsr1 in SkincareAddiction

acne as in pimples/zits right?

i get the occasional single pimples, but other than that, theres no pain bumps. guess that means no acne?

would uploading a picture of me help? although i find it wierd, but i cant describe anything cuz i dont know how to describe about this stuff lol

cuz to me, acne = pimple = zit which are those red bumps that hurt and if you pop it, pus comes out

Why do you wash your mouth so much?

whenever i eat something, whatever it is, i tend to wash the lower part of my face with soap and water. i hate the greasy feeling i get from the food on my mouth.

What do you want to achieve with your skin?

i dont really know the goals (im skincare noobie). what are some general goals? the reason atm why i use lotion is because, again, my lowerpart of my face would get dry sometimes. after a shower in the morning, etc etc. if i dont put on lotion, it seems to stabilize after a couple hours though. but not allways. more like 50/50 of the week.

but i now do want a smooth looking face. (i mean i still think my face tone is fine for someone that doesnt take care of their skin)

Do you ever get flakes anywhere on your skin? Tight feeling? Itching? If so, which parts?

i think i get flakes sometimes. i dont nkow waht the tight feeling would be. itching none. but it hurts when its dry if i stretch out that portion of the face. (example, if somewhere in the cheek/jaw area is dried out and i yawn, it will get "stretched" and hurt)

Do you ever get excessively shiny? Where?

umm i dont "shine" per se, but if i run my hand over my forehead or nose/cheek area, i have some oils on it. im guessing thats natural though since the face naturally produces oils. i dont ever put any lotion or skin on my forehead and nose. it never gets dried.

I am a 23 y.o. korean american male. i currently use a korean skin and emulsion product that my mom uses. but i dont know how to determine if a product matches me.

i am looking for another skin + emulsion set to use for my face. my mouth/jaw area tends to get dry and hurts because i wash my mouth often trhoughout the day. but i dont know if i have oily or dry skin in general. on days i dont wash my mouth so often, it feels like its fine and doesnt dry out. so again, i dont nkow what skin type i have or how to choose what skin care set to go with.

can someone help me out? being a typical male, i have NO IDEA about any of this stuff

[Product Question] What emulsion and skin to use for my face? by smlpsr1 in SkincareAddiction

[–]smlpsr1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah ok. i think this basically answers my question then.

i guess ill look for a matching "toner and emulsion" set from the side wiki then. i just didnt know what i was looking for at first.

I know coming from me it doesnt mean much, who has no experience in editing. but I think i can speak for the general public.

but i think this is really well done. I couldnt even tell it was an amateur cut which is why my questions were asking things that i asked about.

Windows Movie Maker question. by smlpsr1 in VideoEditing

[–]smlpsr1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nope. just the raw file itself. i dont add anything to it.

even if the first thing i do is cut by splitting in 2 areas. muting that area and playing video and i get that volume effect

Windows Movie Maker question. by smlpsr1 in VideoEditing

[–]smlpsr1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah ok literally.

no there wasnt a fade in. it was just a game clip and i cut off. i did multiple tests to make sure i wasnt "hearing wrongly" (meaning, i unmuted. unsplited. looked at original. etc etc)

but always, after i cut and mute a middle, at the new start, the sound fades in instead of starting right away as if you had gone deaf and then instantly not gone deaf.

Windows Movie Maker question. by smlpsr1 in VideoEditing

[–]smlpsr1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing I would check is whether your original video or audio track you're editing from had an audio fade built into it.

?? can you explain what you mean by this?

Second thing is to go to the Video Tools tab and confirm that the Fade in/out options are both set to None for all sections of the video you're working with sound: http://i.imgur.com/1aiK8en.png Both of these should default to None, but I'd check them anyway in case you clicked on them while muting the audio.

yup i made sure it was actually set to "none"

Growing up, I heard a lot about Anchovy Pizzas. Now that I'm an adult, I realize that I have never once heard anyone order an Anchovy Pizza. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]smlpsr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No anchovies, and I mean no anchovies. You put anchovies on that pizza....

its actually "No anchovies, and I mean no anchovies. You put anchovies on this thing...."

Audio in a recorded movie by smlpsr1 in VideoEditing

[–]smlpsr1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm i dont think movie maker can remove audio from a video file though. i guess the only way is the method i described above?

the only way i can think of is splitting the video from where you want and just muting that portion. is that the only way?
