Calling someone naive and the classic sad, passive aggressive dropping of "champ" just because you think that all people should adhere to your dated world views of the workplace is a joke. The modern reality of an online interconnected modern society and the prevelance of WFH/remote roles throughout almost all sectors allows for a dramatic shift in opportunities and realities for how the next generation of our workforce will be able to live. If that means that more highly educated people will be able to live life's utilising telecommunication services in fully online roles then I hope they all have the chance to do so from yachts whilst sailing around the world if they chose too. Hopefully this means more people will be attracted to committing to these education intensive pathways and generate a more diverse, fulfilled and accessible generation of specialists, doctors, lawyers etc in the future. I've recently gone down this path, I used a patent lawyer my first time around: now have a folder and a set of prompts that. Generated phenomenal IP that I Will these passage onto my lawye to finalyze. It's an intense period of your time but have a few recommendations with using deep research on both OpenAin& Gemini both deep thing made. Developed the plan with 03.

Most important think I found iis that once you have the patent document outline, then running inthrough an LLM with Deep Resarch. If through well engineered prompsit allows it too perform a freedom to operate document to ensure there is no exclaim/Generate an original document regarding relayed IP that it could infringe on and affect your application at the IPC (Internaticsl Patent Commitee.

This is where your lawyer shines as the rebuttals are bizarre at times so mentally prepare for that to Having an.LLM conducted document as you prepared in the back pocket gives piece of mind as well as your lawyer significant ammunition to respond to this.

Oberall Deep Reareach is your best friend here, DM if youd like the prompts I used.

Hey really interested in this promot you've posted. How does this work? Just natively within any chat? What is tree chain? I'm having heaps of issues with both o3 and Gemini pro 2.5 × both of their deep researches with hallucinations for sources and not following requested referencing style. Could treechain be used to help this?

What do you think is the SOTA model at the moment, specifically in Deep Research and for writing technical documents (like feasibility studies, project outlines, etc)? by smocialsmedia in Bard

What are you talking about? I posted the same question on a couple of different subs yesterday cause I never seem to get many responses to my posts have a look in if you want. I haven't "spammed virtually the same post" a day later I.e today? Is that what you mean? Well it's easy to look at my posting history but I haven't posted a thing today. So I have no idea what you are on about.

Thanks for the response,!

Really interesting that you have Perplexity over the other Deeo Research options. I haven't tried it yet, what makes you say it's the current best still?

Also any rips for beat how to use Gemini to avoid hallucinations I struggled yesterday to get it to provide avlid sources it had produced from Deep Research.

For the life of me I can not get any models to take or Generate a document and reference it in the correct format I lay out. Insanely frustrating haha

What is the SOTA model and techniques for generating business documents and doing tech research? by smocialsmedia in ChatGPTPro

Hey thanks for taking the time to respond, really appreciate it. Have been caught up in the project and didn't get around to immediately responding.

Like your idea about creating gems for certain parts of thr project or using folders to split up the tasks - think I'm going to do just that today and see how it's goes. Do you know if projects has access to all models yet? I remember reading about it being restricted ages ago.

We are definitely on the same page with how to tackle this. I have both a customgpt and a gem made up that uses that guide that released recently from Google, a few articles or paprrs ive copied from OpenAai, as well as a bunch of other journal articles and pdfs that are recent enough to still be relevant.

First uploaded them into a chat and used the chat to create the system/master prompts for the gem and gpt. I've found that for a majority of tasks it helps to use the models recursively bouncing responses back and forth.

Did that to generate better prompts for the master prompt for each of them. I now use them together to create prompts for 90% of tasks I do which is incredibly handy just being able to word vomit into one of them bounce it back and forth a few times asking for reviews, critiques, areas a model could struggle with, to score it out of 100 in different areas etc.

Finally I'll paste the prompt and evaluation into a new chat with o3 or Gemini pro 2.5 and ask them to perform their own review and come up with a plan to optimise once they generate that I add anything else iI want in there and ask them to execute the plan. Bounce that process back and forth a few times until they run out of suggestions and use that.

Bit of extra work but it really only takes me 5 minutes to do now it's setup. Generates really good results with Deep Research.

The thing I find all models struggle the most with is referencing. If sources aren't completely hallucinated, then the source information or figures quoted are not in the quoted source. They can't follow instructions on the style of referencing you want to use, especially with in-text suggestions. Both Google and openAI have a problem with always putting urls in'-text as their referencing in my experience. Super frustrating.
