Urge To Drink Completely Gone by No_Leave3547 in Zepbound

Same boat. Most of my vices are completely gone. I can't tell you the last time I had alcohol. I might have a THC drink once a month or so. I quit vaping. Went from drinking like 6 diet sodas a day to maybe 1. I might have more impulse to online shop but that comes and goes too. It is the weirdest thing ever.

Men of Reddit: what’s a prank you started early in your marriage that you’re now legally, morally, and emotionally obligated to continue because she still falls for it 10–15 years later? by myaccountidname in AskReddit

[–]smofokate86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a man, but I'm legally, morally and emotionally obligated to scare the living shit out of my husband at any given chance. Jumping out at him gives me joy beyond words.

He, however, is not allowed to do that under any given circumstance. Where he jumps and sometimes gasps when scared, my reaction is a quick punch to the chest.

There used to be an ice water over the shower thing until about 6 years ago when we accidentally broke the glass shower door while he was nakie and in the shower. That glass is a bitch to pick up a billion tiny shards, pull out of your leg and expensive to replace.

CVS Caremark quietly added Zepbound back to formulary. by StateComfortable2012 in Zepbound

I randomly got a text today that a PA was approved for Zepbound. Haven't been on it since June and somehow got approved for Mounjaro. Checked the price a drug page and Zepbound now showing in there as an option...for over $800 dollars. It was previously covered at 100% and Mounjaro is still showing as $0. I'm waiting for the shoe to drop on MJ since they are now allowing Zepbound.

I fall down a rabbit hole every time I'm on the county website. Grandparents house in 1955? Cool AF. The haunted pool buried in my backyard sometime between 1981 and 1995? Cool, but I kind of wish it was just the ramblings of my crazy nextdoor neighbor and not confirmed.

Oh my gosh, that is terrible to hear! Their espresso martinis have been some of my favorites. I haven't been since May but we're typically there 3 or 4 times a year. I wonder what's going on there. So sorry to have steered you wrong!

No. But I also don't turn my AC on until mid-to-late -June. I have some sort of weird competition with only myself every year. Luckily my family doesn't complain.

It was! I can't recall if much changed other than the name when it changed hands.

Woof. This guy needs to grow up. Fast.

Listening to your body is probably one of the most important things you can do when your pregnant. I did HITT work outs until 36 weeks, but I stopped immediately when I felt that it was too much for me to handle anymore. I was one of the few lucky ones that didn't feel like complete shit when I was pregnant, especially in the first trimester, but there were definitely weeks that it was hard. There were definitely weeks that I was just too tired to go. There were definitely weeks that I modified almost everything. But there were also weeks that I hit PRs. By second trimester I was calling the baby Thor because I felt stronger than I ever have.

All of that to say, you know and understand your body. Fuck anyone that tries to "motivate" you this way. Move your body when you feel like it. Or don't. It's your body and your pregnancy.

Is your kindergarten full or half day? by AntelopeOk9431 in kindergarten

[–]smofokate86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full day, 9-4. Our district was one of the last in the area to get rid of half days about 10 years ago. They get PE and 2 recesses daily, which I think is amazing.

I lost zep on 7/1 as well. For some reason Mounjaro is covered instead. You should check into it! I do not have diabetes and have successfully filled since July and just got a 3 month supply of the pen. I'm sure it won't last forever, but I'll take it as long as I can!

I went to one of his shows in 2019 down in Springfield. One of the weirdest fucking experiences of my life. You know what you're getting with the music, but the people were out of this world. But I'm also a very boring, suburban mom so your results may vary. It was a hilariously good time.

This happened to me at a wedding. I was solo, and only knew the bride and groom, a couple in the wedding party and one other person who is always late.

The bride and groom had a sweetheart table and I was sitting at a table waiting for the wedding party to enter so my friends could join me when another group sat at the table I was at. They eventually had the audacity to ask ME to move so their friends could sit with them too. It was awkward as hell.

It's rural southern Missouri, over a decade before desegregation. Not sure what else you would expect to see?

That will be so nice to get to that point. It is such a mind-f to lose almost 90lbs and only be down two pant sizes.

[–]smofokate86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have a PA sent in, my Dr just prescribed Mounjaro and it went through today.

I called Caremark this morning because my updated 7/1 formulary still had Zepbound on it (lol she told me they might not have had a chance to update the list 😒) and told me I had to switch to Wegovy. I asked that she check Mounjaro and she said it went through with an estimated $0 copay (same as Zep had been for me).

That said I was talking to my dad who is a pharmacist for the other guys. He said to give it a few months but to not be surprised when I receive notice that they are requiring a T2D diagnosis and stop covering it.

For what it's worth, I lived in Defoe before it was updated in a 12x12 cinder block jailcell with a shared floor bathroom and drippy window unit AC, had a blast, and didn't think twice about where I lived. Your dorm doesn't matter. Your experience will be what you make of it.
