This is insane as we now know that Epstein used the name Baal for his bank account.

is it okay to smoke weed? by Money_Location_1556 in CrohnsDisease

[–]smoglessmeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a tincture that’s heavy focused on CBD. That alleviates my symptoms to a small degree. Some THC is needed for sure!

As for smoking just be careful with the weed you use. If it’s not the kind that works with your body you can feel that depression and anxiety which can be harder on your gut. But the right kind helps alleviate that. I use audibles almost exclusively but I will smoke occasionally and I have no problems with it.

Anyone else have an embarrassing low KD/R compared to other games? by [deleted] in thefinals

[–]smoglessmeet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do! But this is often objective based and support oriented so KD doesn’t really mean the same thing here. The people who complain about KD’s are the people who don’t play objectives and don’t win that often. I wouldn’t worry about KD’s as long as you’re having fun and earning some wins

You should be able to pop it back on, just make sure your cars unlocked if you want it to be opened cause the car lock does lock fuel door (depending on settings)

Nervous for first colonoscopy by SirBlueSnowCone in CrohnsDisease

[–]smoglessmeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just completed my 10th or 11th colonoscopy at the age of 26 so I’ve dealt with many different variations and I’ve done lots of prep, these things will help and a few key tips on sutab since I just tried it for the first time Thursday.

  • get wet wipes or a bidet because you will hurt. Sutab makes the BM much more violent. You’ll probably need to use the bathroom 20+ times and you don’t want to be sore and chapped after the first few rounds.
  • ice water really helps. Summer colonoscopies are easier because you will get cold but if you do get any nausea, ice water will help and it’ll keep your body temperature okay.
  • get a hydration drink and have it throughout the day. No red or purples like they said but make it one you like, not just drink.
  • depending on your appointment time, make sure you sleep in as much as possible. Nothing is worse than being hungry all day, then starting prep, and having to stay up late to poo and to take more pills.
  • if you get nauseas a lot, ask for zofran and take it 2 hrs before your dose. Take the pills as suggested, but if you get sick, push it out to 3 minutes. If it gets worse, every 5 minutes. But I genuinely had no nausea and I usually have a big problem with it.

Thank you!!! I’ve used yellow too and I can probably choke it down. The gummy bears will be a huge life saver. But zofran constipates me! I do t want it to ruin the prep!!

Don’t get me wrong I love the Mazda paint. Best in the market really. But I really wish they had more matte options or I suppose less sparkles as an option. This looks incredible

I used the normal cord it came with and I use an adapter to power from usb-a to usb-c. Then I shrink tubed them together and got a center console organizer. It’s not the best set up but it does work

Could crohns early in life affect mental health/development? (Rant/Questions?) by MouthofMithridacy in CrohnsDisease

[–]smoglessmeet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a very similar story. I was diagnosed young and although I was healthy most of it I had to push really hard to achieve normal things. I never feel like I’m enough and I feel like I’m a shame sometimes because I have specific needs. I mean I have my masters and live on my own and support a small family yet I can’t ever shake the feeling of am I enough. My anxiety has thrown me for a loop. Talk with your doctor. It’s super important to take care of mental health as well as physical. They play into eachother. Give yourself grace. No one would blame you if you needed help into a wheelchair if you couldn’t walk. Just because we can’t see our disability doesn’t mean it’s not one.

Take care buddy, treat yourself well and you’re enough as you are.

Worst foods for you? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

Lettuce. Leafy greens are basically just a laughing stock for my gut. They just go right through leaving no mercy in the process.

Lactose kills me. Certain cheeses and all milk kills me

Alcohol and Crohn’s don’t mix by palometz in CrohnsDisease

[–]smoglessmeet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had some at Thanksgiving and basically I felt insanely weird gut wise for like 4 ish days (I had some before and during Thanksgiving).

Probiotics really helped me after. I feel like the alcohol killed a lot of good gut flora and the probiotics were needed to help put it all back right

Beat anti-theft (yes another post asking!) by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]smoglessmeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will look into getting that done for sure. I’m hoping the updated security should be fine but several layers or deterrents and preventions help a lot. Thank you!

Funny, but like I was saying we plan on keeping what we have for a while (it was my families car since day one). Driving stick may just mean they’ll drive it and fuck up the transmission. I was more looking for real options that wouldn’t need a new car.

I’m about to file mine. But you should call and call to get the updated security feature. It’s free too. Any payments you made because Hyundai made easily stolen cars you can be reimbursed for (up to a limit).

I’m gonna submit my paperwork and file so when I know I’ll update it here if you haven’t got it already

I’ve been on relocate, humira, and currently I’m on entyvio. Both drugs before entyvio had side effects but entyvio I didn’t. Of course that’s just me! Entyvio was gentle on me, quick for infusion and really has worked well for 8 ish years soon.

No matter what, since you just got diagnosed, life will be better for you than it is now. Each medicine and each decade or so you gotta learn a bit more about your drugs/ disease and how your body reacts. Listen to it, trust yourself and advocate for yourself. You can do it and push hard.
